Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We loved staying at this family run property that is peaceful and authenticly Morroccan. Zac and Amira are amazing hosts as well and made a real effort to accomodate our dietary requirements. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and this property absolutely hit the target. We also loved being surrounded by nature, the olive and orange trees and the pool was fantastic and had loads of loungers and umbrellas (probably the best pool area we've had on our travels). WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if you are going to Marrakech.

United KingdomIt would be good if eggs were included with the breakfast as lots of sweet pancakes are not my idea of a substantial breakfast but this is my personal opinion.
The most welcoming and accomodating staff. The place is a peace of tranquility away from the hustle of the city. Beautiful grounds and good facilities. Breakfast was slightly different each morning with fresh fruits and juices. The food in the restaurant was faultless and the cocktails super yummy. Zac his wife and mother were such friendly hosts talked to us a lot but didn't impose and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a beautiful stay in gorgeous grounds.

United KingdomI can't think of anything that could not be liked! Beautiful place with lots of hard work to bring traditions and cultures making it so special for people to enjoy!
Stunning homely cosy villa with traditional Moroccan decor located in a small Moroccan village within close proximity to Marakesh. Surrounded with beautiful citrus and olive orchard, colorful roses, singing birds and little tortoises, clean fresh air and many starry nights. Breakfast was lovely: Moroccan traditional fresh homemade breads with the high quality olive oil, freshest ever orange juice, sweet yummy confitures, traditional teas, very nice! The entire place is spotless! You could just feel that motherly spirit in every corner as every-every tea pot, cups utensils, and the entire villa were ultra clean and spotless just like 'from home to home'. We had a great relaxing time! Thank you to Zakariya, Amira and Zak's Mother who made this entire place truly a Palatial soulful retreat and a very special place!

United KingdomNo air con in the restaurant makes it a bit hot in the summer.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Lovely rooms, the cleanest property and pool and the best hosts you could wish for. If you want a little peace of calm outside of Marrakech then this is the place to stay. Part of our party were unwell when we arrived and they were the best hosts - so accommodating with making the food we wanted when we wanted it (which was great) and helping us out. The restaurant had a great choice of snacks and meals and everything tasted so good with juices and fruit straight from the garden. I would definitely come back here again if I can!

Palais Amador is an oasis of calm that is clearly a labour of love for the amazing family that runs it. the spacious facilities, wonderful dining terraces and beautiful gardens create an atmosphere that is beyond compare for a truly relaxing holiday. Visits into Marrakech itself, excursions into the mountains or on site hamman or massage treatments are easily arranged with their contacts to ensure a personal service. We can’t wait to return ! thank you so much

United StatesGosh - nothing! My only suggestion would be to add some protein like beans to the free continental breakfast. The fresh juice, coffee and the breads were absolutely delicious but very carb dense.
We were travelling from the US and had initially booked a Riu all-inclusive. However, we didn't really need all-inclusive and the mixed reviews of that property were concerning. We kept searching for properties and just two days before our travel date, Palais Amador showed availability for our group of six. The excellent reviews and the beautiful pictures helped us make our decision. We booked two rooms and a suite, and came in with high expectations. The property, the rooms, the views and most of all, the owners and their warmth, helpfulness and customer service exceeded all our expectations. They upgraded us to two suites. The absolutely gorgeous hotel had noteworthy details - a garden with lots of flowers and fruit trees (all food/juice was from their garden/farm!) beautiful crown moldings, lights, chandelier, mirrors, coffee tables, beds, sofas - everything was hand-selected to reflect rich Moroccan architecture and artistry. This would have sufficed in itself but the stay was made even better by the hosts who welcomed us with delicious Moroccan tea and helped us plan our itinerary -arranging taxis, day tours and even the food as needed. They catered to our dietary needs at the restaurant, They provided us shopping tips. They did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was. Thank you Palais Amador family - you all made our trip unforgettable. We yearn to be back already!

DenmarkThe location is both a negative and a positive. We chose this place because of the location and vibe. To travel into town can become expensive by taxi and the majority of the external excursions do not pick you up from Palais Amador.
This beautiful place represented the beautiful people working there. Maria aka Mumma, Zak and Marouan were exceptional hosts. We were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for 5 days of our trip. The team were so attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. I can’t say enough positive things about this place, we had an amazing time partly due to the beautiful surroundings but also the people working here. Every morning, greeted with a smile. I taught Marouan how to play table tennis, so you need to make sure you play against him when your there 😉
