Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MoroccoThe bathroom had no air circulation. The tub didn't drain well.
The decor was beautiful. The bed was alright. I enjoyed the look of the facility. Breakfast, although it was hot and fresh, it was mediocre. The orange juice was fresh, and I appreciate it.

LatviaIf you arrive in night it might be a bit difficult to find even if it’s minute from the gate of old town.
The place is historical indeed! The feeling is like living in real Moroccan house, which is true. The place gives a lot of imagination and new experience. Helpful stuff and a lot of freedom, I mean you can choose breakfast time and check out is not on the morning.

Irelandstaff does not understand english well. Had to use Google Translate but thats ok. the internet was slow as well. But it works most of the time. can’t complain much on that.
It is very traditional and beautiful Riad. The architecture inside is splendid. The room decor is also very nice. The staff greeted us with Moroccan tea on our arrival and also Guided us the way to Madina. which is 10-12 mins walk. For one of the room, the Ac was not working. So they changed the room for us and it was very comfortable too. Breakfast was really nice and fulfilling. Egg omelette with meat in it was something that we were only served at this place. And it was delicious. The pool area is lovely as well for a swim and relaxation. Overall great place with mesmerising architecture

ItalyAlthough you are away from the noise of the Medina, the riad can be hard to find. Google maps takes you to the restaurant, not the riad so ask for gps coordinates. Also there is no sauna or wellness centre, despite this being mentioned as part of the services. Still the courtyard mini pool was very refreshing. The downstairs rooms are easy to access but give onto the shared spaces, while the upstairs rooms are quieter, but up some pretty steep steps. So choose your room carefully. What you see in the pics is what you get. Also consider whether you want external windows (more light) or just windows that give onto the courtyard (allows less light in the room).
Breakfast was excellent! The staff were incredibly welcoming. Mme Hakima and Mr Faisal were extremely understanding and quickly sorted out a problem with my payment. The staff were attentive to my every need and treated me like family. Mme Hakima even sorted out 4am airport transfer and presented me with a packed breakfast when I left. I've read other reviews that complained about the state of the riad. It's true that it's not modern luxury, but that's the charm of staying in a riad. You travel back in time!

Czech RepublicLocation on the map right next to parking place is not the one of the hotel but of a restaurant of the same name. To hotel they guide you another 500 mts to the Medina by foot. Note the price does not include city tax of 3,5 eur per person per night, so this hotel can seem cheaper than it actually is. Other hotels have the tax included. When we arrived at 4 PM our rooms were not ready yet and were occupied by guest with late check out.

BelgiumWe are disappointed overall. The hotel looks like its falling apart and its not really clean. The garbage can was not even emptied in the room when we check-in. Staff are smilling but they are slow and not that helpful. Breakfast looks big but its not tasty.
The riad is inside the medina close to one gate and to a parking lot. So easy to reach with carry-on.

SpainI think our groups expectations, based on the confirmation of booking page, were extremely high. Reality brought us back to earth and the facilities reflected the aura of age. ´Having slept on our dissatisfaction we settled in well and by the end of the week had got quite fond of the place and staff. Need to be mobile to manage to get into the shower. Toilet seat shaky and toilet roll holder not capable of holding a toilet roll. Things stated as available seemed to be missing: safe, kettle, iron etc., hairdryer provided on request. The Riad itself is on the edge of Medina and at night limited eating places, cafes etc. The new town does provide more choice at reasonable prices.
A really old Riad. The lounge and plunge pool area typical for Morroco and breathtakingly beautiful. The staff were a delight and happy to help in any way they could. The beds large and comfortable. Towels and bedding changed very regularly. Plentiful breakfast if a bit stodgy (would have liked some fruit). Staff very willing to arrange trips out.

United KingdomThis road is absolutely stunning. It is a large space with beautiful old traditional style. I saw a few reviews saying that it is outdated and falling apart. This wasn't the case at all. My room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was great and fresh every morning. More importantly the staff were amazing. They were kind and accomodating helping me to make it to places in the Medina. I definitely recommend this Riad. It is very easy to find via Google maps too and is outside the Medina enough to have some peace and quiet.
