This was our second stay at the le Patio du Lac and we were greeted once again with a very warm welcome. My partner was feeling sick and the owner offered to get medication for us which shows his care for his guests. The facilities are beautifully decorated, rooms are clean and very comfortable. The lobby area is gorgeous. Food was also fantastic very fresh. Great stay!

Great host. The cook makes exceptionally nice tajine. My wife is local Amazigh and she rates the tajine very highly so I guess it passes all tests in my book :)

The owner did not speak English so it was a bit difficult to communicate

The place is amazing, very nicely furnished and perfectly clean. Rooms are beautiful, there was a problem with the toilet in our room, however the owner gave us another room straight away. I suggest renting a car to go for trips to the Atlas Mountains and to the Berber villages in the desert.

Sadly, the weather made a lake visit or even just sitting outside impossible.

Coffee some times was not hot, due to the flasks being used, view of the lake nice - but close up there is lots of plastic & junk that needs cleaned up by the local council, evident in many other places in the village & all of Morocco - well below European standards eg Spain, France , annoying noisy call to prayer at 5.30 , & 7.30 in the morning, indoor poor is small & more for decoration not used, laundry day on return the room was left unlocked anyone could have walked in & taken our stuff - not acceptable

Nice Moroccan breads, evening food tasty, early breakfast provided very early 7.00 on day of departure 😊, arrival at midnight the head man was very helpful with a late coffee and very helpful with luggage , nice real fire for morning & evening as it is cool in winter, view of the lake & African evening sunset 🌅

Don’t judge this property from the outside as you open the front door and it’s beautiful inside. The decor is fabulous and has areas to linger and relax and great views from the roof terrace. And Alin does yoga classes too! We had a delicious dinner with wine and the bed was super comfortable

This is a very special place. The property is really designed and curated to such a high standard. The suite we were upgraded to was fabulous. I wanted a deep hot bath after many dusty travel days. We had such a perfect soak!

It is a bit understaffed, so you might wait a bit if you order a juice or a tea, but no biggie for us.

It's like a different world when you step inside to the patio. It is huge with lots of couches to sit on, there is a fairly big pool, view from the terrace is amazing. The rooms are big and clean and they smell very nice. The staff is friendly, but only speaks french or arab, so be prepared to use a translator or hand gestures, in my case it was a funny addition to the whole experience.

Beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. Nice pool to cool down. The host is really nice! She also arranged a quad tour in the Agafay dessert for us. Food is good and not expensive.

This is a boutique quality hotel. Beautifully decorated spacious common areas. The room was very large and comfortable. A panoramic view of the lake from the balcony. We had dinner on the roof terrace. Good food and a spectacular view. They serve beer and wine. The breakfast was the best we have had in Morocco. The German/French owner is the perfect host. Everything is efficiently done with great style. She made us so welcome.

It was all lovely , no complaints at all.

This is a super location on the edge of the lake. The building is beautiful inside and on the roof terrace where you can enjoy the sun setting over the lake. Ask for the room on the roof which had a window overlooking the mountains. I enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the evening and equally excellent breakfast. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel they made me feel very welcome. Thank you

I specifically chose this Riad because I could book rooms with a private balcony and views of the lake. I reserved two rooms of this type, but unfortunately, I was not given rooms with the balcony and views, which was very disappointing. When I addressed this at the reception, I was informed that all rooms with balconies were fully booked and that I would be refunded. However, I am now being told that the Riad is not willing to issue the refund, despite the fact that I can show proof of my reservation for this room type.
