The room was very hot and the AC was not very strong. This is a basic hotel but does the job at a reasonable price. The location makes up for it.

The location was stunning in the gorge. The accomodation provided everything required for our short stay.

Due to water shortages, the pool was out of action.

Stopped here for one night on our way down to the Sahara on motorbikes. Set right in the Ziz valley and easy to find although a gravel driveway down to the hotel. Free parking right outside but the gravel is quite deep in places for heavy motorcycles. The owner was lovely and stayed up until 3am for one of our party who arrived late. A good traditional dinner can be had at the Kasbah for about 100 dirhams each. Room was comfortable (narrow stairs to get up to it) and breakfast ample.

This is basically a campsite, with a basic accommodation block attached, which lacked the decor and comfort of other places we stayed, so maybe a bit overpriced in that respect.

Very friendly owner and staff, and a beautiful green spot in a dry rocky canyon. The views were stunning.

The hotel is nicely located, clean and well managed. The owner has always paid attention to us and we really enjoyed all our meals here. Tajine kefta and breakfast was delicious. We fully recommend this place. It is a perfect stopover in between the long way of Fez and Merzouga. The hotel is in front of a mountain and a river. Also, it has a terrace in front to enjoy the sun while having a tea.

The receptionist was very friendly, and the rooms were nicely decorated. Good location and nice view.

The bathroom had an oppressively foul smell that leaked into the sleeping area even though the door was firmly closed and window open. We didn't notice the smell at first which increased as the evening progressed. The heater made a loud noise so we kept it off most of the night. Breakfast was OK but served in a very cold area.

Nice sunny terrace but would be better if there were some chairs. Location was beautiful along the river iside the gorge with a hiking trail to the top. Staff were cheerful and helpful supplying us with hot water for our self made coffee upon arrival

The aircon is a bit temperamental so we couldn’t get it working in the night and the room was so hot (we might have been better camping ) but we were also there in the middle of August so can’t really complain about the heat haha

We stopped off here for a night on our way to the dessert and wow the location is incredible, I’d recommend getting up early to see the sun rise. It was the first place we had a traditional Moroccan meal of bread, olives, salad, tagine and fruit - simple but home cooked comfort food. It’s a basic hotel but for 30 euro including some breakfast I don’t know what some other people are expecting. We liked that the guy running the show was quite direct.

The only down is that it was very hot and we were 4 people in a spacious room. The air con wasn't good enough, the walls were too hot from the heat outside, so we all slept right under it in a king bed. But I think if there wasn't a crazy heatwave, this place would be absolutely perfect.

Price was amazing and the swimming pool was very needed on this crazy hot summer. The hosts can speak Portuguese and Spanish, so this was an extra bonus because my family couldn't speak English. The food was very good, staff very friendly and always ready to help. The location is amazing and nice to walk around. The view from the room very nice.
