Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsLocation: take a taxi from airport to batha square, the hotel is not inside the old Medina, so it s convenient you don’t need to walk. There is no lift, but they help you with your suitcases.

United Kingdomthe stairs going to the terrace. the guests and staff would benefit from an elevator especially if their room is located on the floor before the terrace
the facilities were exceptional. the location is walkable to the medina and you can easily get a taxi. the property has its own cafe where we ate most of the time. it’s also worth noting that it’s very clean. the staff are accommodating and approachable.

Location is best...close to madina, and some point of interets. Most important easy access by car. The single room is small but comfy. Love the bed.

Czech RepublicThe ceiling was leaking a bit in heavy rain. No elevator.
The staff was super friendly and spoke English very well. They also have a cool cafe downstairs where they serve Moroccan dishes with a modern twist. Very affordable prices. The rooms were good and very clean, but don't expect anything fancy. The location was also very good, it's not right in the Medina itself, but right next to the main entrance gate (which means that it's accessible by car).

United StatesThe wifi is spotty. In the cafe and in my room on the 2nd floor I had good wifi, yet in the room on the 3rd floor it would cut in and out.
I loved the Location of this boutique hotel. After the desert I didn't want to track around the Medina to find my accommodation. The taxi can bring you straight there and when it's time to leave; the taxis are waiting outside at the roundabout. You can easily enter the Medina 3 ways from the boutique; either at the blue gate, just a couple minutes walk or from the side streets, which one of them is near the front of the hotel. The rooms are really clean and the beds are actually really comfortable and not hard. They have soft pillows, good blankets, aircon and windows that look to the outdoors. The showers have strong water pressure that is controllable and if you love hot showers, there is plenty of hot water. The food in the cafe was surprisingly good. I didn't have any expectations but really enjoyed dinner as everything is well seasoned and well prepared. My breakfast was included and you had options to choose from the breakfast menu. The staff are really great and lively. They are young, vibrant, competent and social and took great care to meet my needs. I booked a tour from there that went great and my bag of laundry only cost 50 MAD. If you need suggestions just ask the staff they are more than willing to help. I highly recommend this place as it has everything you need to be comfortable. The hotel was quite at night and in the mornings so you'll be able to sleep comfortably.

United StatesWifi was hit-or-miss and only worked from some parts of my room, but that's par for the course in the medina.
Cool hostel/hotel in a very convenient spot in the Medina. You're just a couple of blocks away from Batha, which means it's easy to take cabs, etc. from there. Rooms were warm and decently spacious, with a good shower--it's a good option if you come in winter and don't want to chance a cold riad. Staff were helpful.

FranceNothing could've been better.
I recently stayed at Cine House in Fes and it was an amazing experience! The hotel is in such a great spot, right by the entrance to the Medina, making it super easy to explore the city. But the real standout for me was the staff, with a special shoutout to Youssef and Zahra, who went above and beyond to make my stay so comfortable. They were so friendly and helpful, making me feel like a valued guest. The hotel itself was super clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was well-appointed, and the overall attention to detail was impressive. And can we talk about breakfast? It was delicious! I loved starting each day with such a tasty meal. All in all, I can't recommend Cine House enough. If you're planning a trip to Fes, this is the place to stay. With its amazing location, fantastic staff, and clean facilities, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back!
