Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This Riad is very clean, and beautifully arranged. Delicious and plentiful breakfast served on the beautiful terrace overlooking the old city. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They will accommodate special requests and do everything to help you feel at home. The location is perfect. You cannot park the car right at the Riad, but staff will get your luggage and help you find the Riad from your parking lot. Staff welcomes you with tea and overview of how to get around the old city.

United StatesThe pillows are poor quality. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is not well lit.
Centrally located near the Blue gate. Beautifully appointed rooms. Very well kept facility. Lovely rooftop for breakfast.

AustraliaThe Riad was in a great location, clean, and beautiful. The room was huge compared to elsewhere I stayed in Morocco, very clean, and lovely. But the absolute best part of the Riad were the staff. Absolutely exceptional. If i could pack them in my bag to take to every future accommodation I would. They were friendly, helpful and honestly just amazing. I will bring a bigger suitcase next time so i can steal them!

This riad was definitely the best we stayed in during our Morocco travel. The stuff is super friendly and try their best to make your stay unforgettable. The road is located central but also very quiet. The room is super clean and it is decorated so nice. The beds are comfy. The breakfast is served on the rooftop with an amazing view over fès. I can definitely recommend this riad and if I come back to fès I will definitely come again!

SpainReally wonderful stay in Fes! Highly recommended! The Riad is conveniently located so you can walk everywhere in Fes and it’s well signaled in the streets surrounding it so you can find it easily. The folks running the Riad, Ahmed and Mariam, are so kind and helpful. If you have time, we highly recommend taking the cooking class offered at the riad and ask for Nezha to be your chef. She is incredible!! We had so much fun going to the market and learning how to make traditional Moroccan cuscus and tagine. This class was the highlight of our stay! If you cannot make it to a class, you can alternatively stay for dinner and she will make you the best food you will eat in all of Morocco.

Isle of ManWe had a family room. We liked it, but I noted a past reviewer who balked at the fact that the two rooms are connected by a balcony that is open over the courtyard. For us this was fine, but if you had little kids sleeping in the second room, it might be off-putting to have to put on some clothing in order to go to them in the night, or whatever, as there are often people sitting down in the courtyard who only have to glance up to see you running by naked. If you're staying in a family room, keep this in mind and bring a light robe or big t-shirt. The breakfast was pretty good. My commentary about Moroccan breakfast really applies to all hotels, as we had an almost identical breakfast everywhere we stayed. For us it's a lot of food, and lots of it we don't really touch, so it feels terribly wasteful to receive it each day and leave it behind. I suppose my suggestion for the hotel is that for multi-night stays, they find out which items you'd like to receive for the second and subsequent days, so you can have more of what you like and not receive the things which will go to waste. A final comment for the hotel is that the short alleyway just outside the hotel can be extremely dark at night, such that we had to pull out our phones and turn on flashlights to make sure we didn't trip. For some guests, this could feel scary, and would be easily addressed with solar-powered garden lighting or something. It doesn't need to be much, just not pitch black.
We spent 2.5 weeks in Morocco and stayed at 9 hotels. This was the best. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Upon check-in we were given a brief explanation of the sites of the city and a map. This was actually quite helpful and factored into our choices in the following days. There was always a knowledgeable and friendly member of staff in the courtyard area to greet us or say goodbye and provide useful tips, not just make pleasantries. There was always someone around who spoke good (or great) English. The most unexpected and amazing thing about this riad was that they provide a laundry service, which was not only fast, but free! I wrote to them ahead of time to ask if I'd be able to do laundry there priced by the load, rather than by the piece (family of 5 with 8 days of laundry to do), and they replied that I could do it for free. My question specifically stated that I was assuming I'd have to pay and they could have named their reasonable price and I would have paid it, but they did it for free, and turned my two big bags of laundry around within 7 hours. Absolutely amazing and so very appreciated. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything, but only a short walk to a parking lot if you're arriving by car.

United StatesWe stayed 4 days and here are a few things that reduced our delight. 1. Many establishments in Fez Medina only accept cash, including Riad Green House. This should be noted upfront on Booking.com, rather than buried at the end of a long welcome email. The Cash Only policy required us to seek out and make multiple visits to an ATM to pay for our stay. 2. The Riad is internally noisy from conversations and music in the central foyer, until past 11 pm-- all that noise is heard in the rooms. 3. Like other lodgings, breakfast is very bread heavy and repetitive; but the accompanying daily single fried egg and coffee were good. 4. The toiletries are terrible: tiny slivers of soap and mini-packets of shampoo. These are all things the management could change to make for an excellent experience.
The staff were exceptional, highly professional, friendly and hard working. Their efforts and charm elevated our stay. The Riad is lovely and clean, and secluded away from the noise of the streets and alleys. Great shower, comfortable bed, clean towels and linens.

SpainI didn't realise the family suite rooms were connected through the courtyard balcony. This really bothered me because I was afraid that I wouldn't hear my kids if they wake up at night. We also just couldn't walk to the other room without getting dressed... This is obviously not something that the riad staff can change, but it's something to be aware of if you are a family with small kids. The riad is also quite hidden away.
Very pretty place with lovely staff and a nice breakfast.
