Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomOnly thing to note is that there's no safe and you can't lock your door when you're out, but as it's a small Riad with super attentive staff, we never really felt that this was an issue.
If you are looking for elegance, luxury and calm, Road Dar Yasaman will absolutely not disappoint. The staff were warm, courteous, and more than happy to make every accommodation for us. The Riad itself is absolutely stunning with it's green tiles and huge central palm tree, it was truly special. The location is also great, just far enough from the anarchy of souks to feel calm and relaxed, but close enough to be back in the thick of it within a few minutes. And if you're reading this to help you choose between rooms, I can't recommend the deluxe suite enough. The room and view are gorgeous, the bed is enormous, and the gigantic bath is incredible (just give it a while to fill).

United StatesThere isn’t anything I can complain about. I loved everything. I know there was mention of odors, but you are in the Medina and it is to be expected periodically due to all of the structures/pipes being so old. However, the toilets flushed surprisingly really well.
The decor was modern and traditional. Perfect size of 7 rooms. The location is in the Medina, but set away from the chaos. The staff is beyond wonderful and took such excellent care of me. I couldn’t ask for a better stay and cannot wait to return. HIGHLY recommend!

SlovakiaStaying at the hotel in Marrakech was an absolutely enchanting experience. The beauty of the Riad was beyond words, with its stunning architecture and intricate decor that perfectly captured the essence of Moroccan charm. Every corner of the Riad was a visual delight, from the lush courtyard with its sparkling fountain to the beautifully designed rooms that exuded elegance and comfort. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. Their warm smiles and attentive service made me feel truly welcome and cared for. Whether it was providing local tips, arranging excursions, or simply making sure I had everything I needed, their dedication was exceptional. The hotel's location in the heart of Marrakech made it the ideal base for exploring the city. Being in the center of everything meant that I was just steps away from the vibrant souks, historic sites, and delicious restaurants. It was amazing to be able to immerse myself in the local culture and then retreat to the tranquility of the Riad. Overall, my stay at this hotel was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever. The combination of the beautiful Riad, the exceptional staff, and the prime location made it a truly unforgettable visit to Marrakech. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic and luxurious Moroccan getaway.

United KingdomEverything about the Riad was perfect. The entire team were so kind and caring offering help at any time if the day. We felt instantly welcome and at home. The ambience and decor was stylish and authentic. There was so much attention to detail with sumptuous toiletries and beautiful linens. The breakfast was generous, healthy and delicious and you are greeted with ceremonial mint tea. We will remember this experience with deep fondness and a smoke in our hearts always. We can’t wait to return 🙏

United KingdomWe struggled to get the air-con to work at one point. Also the pool on the roof was heated for the first couple of days of our stay, once this was turned off it was much more refreshing in the hot weather.
The riad was great value for money, food was amazing and the staff were very accommodating

GermanyThis is not a problem because we don't feel unsafe, but there is no key to the room door and no lockers inside the room. Again I don't think this is an issue.
The location is super good, and all the staff are friendly and polite, we had dinner one night there and the food was absolutely delicious, cleanness is 100% perfect, and all the time people are cleaning. Breakfast is also really good and the size of the room is good, there is no problem with the bathroom or the comfort of the bed. The building is gorgeous, really beautiful.

United KingdomSome things to be aware of - our room was very small. Maybe our fault for not realising, but there was barely any storage space, so we couldn’t unpack properly and had to keep most of our clothes in suitcases. The TV channels were glitchy so we couldn’t watch it. The shower pressure was very poor. Note for the owner - you should change the shower head for a much smaller one to improve the pressure. The water wasn’t particularly hot either. The bathroom smelled of sewage as if there was an issue with the drains. Unfortunately the hot water in the rooftop jacuzzi wasn’t working for the full duration of our stay which was very disappointing. We didn’t particularly like the area where the riad was and we had to walk 5 minutes to get a taxi. To be fair, staff always offered to accompany us there but still not ideal as we didn’t always want to ask. There are definitely better parts of town. Final point - we paid 250mad for an airport transfer by booking through the riad which was very overpriced. When we booked our own taxi for the return journey using InDrive it only cost us 50mad. Yes, it's our fault for agreeing to this but I feel like we were scammed by the riad! It’s a real shame.
Just spent a week here! The riad is beautiful just like the photos. Lovely rooftop and they only have 7 rooms so we often had the communal spaces to ourselves. Our room was cleaned everyday to a very high standard. Riad staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Big shoutout to Ali who was always very helpful! When we first arrived we were given a mint tea which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was good although just be aware that staff can be slow to serve it so let them know if you are pushed for time. Very nice relaxed atmosphere overall and the place was very well designed.

United StatesSome days the shower was lukewarm depending on when you got up. We asked for a final email receipt from a couple of different staff and we still haven’t received it.
All the staff were warm, friendly and so helpful! The riad is very attractive and the breakfasts were excellent. The whirlpool heater wasn’t working when we were there but we used the small pool to cool off after a long hot day and it was perfect for that. The rooftop is lovely in the evenings with a glass of wine, listening to the call to prayer from the Medina minarets.

United KingdomIt was a shame the hot tub was not hot during our stay (pump broken) so we were a bit disappointed we could not use it because we were looking forward to it. Something minor but there was sometimes a "sewage smell" in our bathroom, and the water temperature and pressure in the shower were not the best. Small note for other travellers: the mosque is just next to the riad so the call to prayer at 5am is quite loud. Bring some earplugs.
The staff Ali, Abdelghafor and the chef were excellent, very friendly and always available and happy to help. The riad itself is sooooo beautifully decorated, whether it's the courtyard, the breakfast room, the bedrooms and the rooftop terrasse. We really loved it. It felt nice, relaxing and comfortable to be there. Like a little paradise island in the middle of the hustle and bustle of busy Marrakech. The bed was very comfortable and not too hard (unlike other hotels in Marrakech). The breakfast was incredible, with many options of food and drink and served directly to the table (not a buffet). We also had the opportunity to eat dinner at the riad on our first night, and although it's quite pricey, it is 100% worth it! The food is incredible, I felt I was in a Michelin star restaurant with a personal chef and waiter. Thank you all for the lovely stay it was really hard to leave...

United KingdomOnly thing to flag was the temperature of the jacuzzi and the pool - was too cold for use. however, i was made aware of a temporary issue with the cold water!
Everything. One of my favourite places I've ever stayed. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming- giving a homely feel. Our needs were attended to and we immediately felt very comfortable. The staff, particularly Ali and Rafik treated us very well and did everything to make our holiday amazing. The rooms were always exceptionally clean and the decor of the Riad is well thought through and beautiful. Location is perfect for a busy stay in the medina - yet the hotel is quiet.

United Kingdom- The bathroom didn’t have an extractor fan (or at least one which worked). This meant that the bathroom never dried out after a shower, the towels were constantly wet, there was lots of condensation and black mould growing on the walls, as a result. The main issue was that the hot and condensation filled bathroom meant that the smell of the drain was exacerbated, and was quite unpleasant.
- The decoration of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous; can tell a lot of thought went into the design. - The location was good. It was only a short walk into some of the near markets and restaurants. - The staff were incredible, I’ve genuinely never met such a lovely bunch of people. Nothing was ever too much of an ask! - The breakfast was wonderful, there was plenty of selection. - The best value for money I’ve ever had from a hotel!!!

We can’t rate this place highly enough. This truly felt like a home away from home and we already can’t wait to return. Instant relaxation from the moment you enter the riad - the decor is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Huge shoutout to Ali and Rafik for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome- your enthusiasm, warmth and generosity touched our hearts. Helping us on our 6am hot air balloon trip and making sure we retuned back to the UK safely. Breakfast was phenomenal and plenty of it meaning we didn’t need much until dinner! Wish we’d eaten at the riad for dinner as the food always smelt incredible. Room and bed was so gorgeous and comfortable. The complimentary soap smelt amazing! Location perfect, so close to everything and felt like you were staying in a less touristy area. Felt super safe and we spent many afternoons on the rooftop relaxing and soaking up the ambiance. It’s perfect and we can’t wait to be back!

FinlandThe riad is as gorgeous as the pictures show. Even though we had the smallest and cheapest room, it was absolutely beautiful and good size for a couple. The location is very nice if you want to stay in the middle of bubbly Medina. The riad offered a peaceful environment to relax after a hectic day of exploring Marrakech. Breakfast was delicious and had many different things like fruits, omelette and variety of breads. We are thankful to the staff for being very kind and polite.
