If I ever have the chance to visit Fes one more time, I would stay at this Dar again. It is incredibly beautiful, authentic, and in a great location within the medina. The biggest advantage is the amazing terrace where breakfast and dinner are served. It is absolutely stunning! Additionally, they prepare fantastic food, so don't hesitate to have dinner at Dar Lantana – the most delicious food in Morocco. Many thanks to Catherine, who was an exceptionally attentive and gracious host!

Very nice riad in the heart of Medina. Beautiful and colorful terrace. Very friendly host and she tell us all information about riad and city. Comfortable bed and clean. The food from menu it's well cooking and it's very tasty!

The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but as were were only there for two nights it did thither us too much

The location was really good on the edge of the medina close to the gate, property was clean and had a lovely rooftop balcony. The staff were really helpful.

The classic riad style and decorations, the terrace, the home-made food including the amazing and varied breakfast, the recommendations given by the host, the location 3 minutes walking from the "blue gate". Everything about this stay was on point. I highly recommend staying in this riad. All the food was super tasty and prepared at the moment by Catherine herself. My mom is gluten intolerant and the host took good care of her, she found gluten free options for the breakfast and even went the extra mile and cooked a cake without gluten for the last day! We felt very welcomed with my family and already want to come back to Fez.

We were given a very warm welcome, Cathrine is an excellent host. She is extremely helpful in organising any event or activity, we loved the authentic Moroccan cooking class and trip to Volubilis. The view from the rooftop was stunning both during the day and at night. Our room was cosy and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend the food, it was one of the best meals of our stay, especially the chicken couscous.

You can hear people occasionally walking up and down stairs- that really was no issue for us but if stuff like that bothers you- its worth being aware of.

This property is perfect and the price is amazing value for money! It has a beautiful roof terrace where breakfasts and dinner (if you choose to dine there in the evening) are served - both are delicious. Our bed was very firm which I LOVED but worth being aware of if you like soft beds. Me and my boyfriend slept beautifully each night - better than I sleep at home! The shower had really good pressure and was always hot. The owner is extremely personable and a very good conversationalist - nothing was too much trouble for her to arrange and help us with - she also has a pet cat which was great. The property has Wifi and the location is great for wandering around the medina and also close to the Blue Gate to venture further afield.

Our host Catherine was beyond exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she took care of all of our needs. She booked us a tour guide of fes for the very next morning. She also arranged our desert tour to Merzouga. She kept in touch with us and made sure we were well taken care of all the way until we reached Marrakech. The breakfast was wonderful and the location was great.

Dar Lantana is located in the heart of Fes Medina, a good starting point for exploring the sourroundings. Catherine is an excellent host, really helpful and supportive. Breakfast was super good and the room was comfortable enough (don't forget that Dar Lantana is a traditional riad, meaning that rooms can't be as spacious as common hotels' rooms).

The bathroom was a little small but it wasn't a problem, breakfast could be a little bit more protein rich (you only get 1 egg) and more coffee would be nice

The location was perfect inside the medina but close to boujloud gate, easily to find, close to all restaurants. Catherine the owner was amazing very friendly, spoke English perfectly, willing to help and advise. Very good food in the riad and beautiful room

This place has everything you could want when visiting Fes. It is located in the old medina, very close to the Blue Gate. The interior is decorated in a charming traditional style. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the medina, and the breakfast is opulent. The hosts are very caring and can help you plan and organize your trip. In addition, Catherine is not only a great hostess, but also a gifted cook! 10/10 experience.

Catherine from the start of your booking is the host! She communicates as soon as possible and gives you all the information you will need for your stay. Breakfast is abundant and super friendly kind staff. The location can’t get any better. It’s safe you’re a few meters from the police station and next to the police station you can withdraw money. So we felt safe.

Dar Lantana was an amazing riad to stay in. Everything was excellent, the beds, showers and the dinner we had in the riad, was superb. The roof terrace was an excellent place to have breakfast and look at the city! The staff was super friendly, nothing was too much for them. Every morning you are welcomed with a good breakfast that will give you a strong start for the busy streets of Fes. Dar Lantana is within the old medina which is just minutes from the magnificent Bab Bouljoud and all the Souks, restaurants and tea shops. Catherina is a lovely hostess who cares about your needs and will help your with some tips and tricks.

The only thing that we didn't mind but it would be important for some people to know is that the riad has very narrow and high steps

The location is perfect, the riad street is quite, everything it was great. The owner very friendly and helpful . She arranged for us a taxi when we arrived and she also made sure to have a taxi to take us to the airport at 4:00 in the morning and we are greatfull for it

The room felt a bit small for us three, specially as we planned to spend a full day resting in it. I would still go back and highly recommend this place though!

Catherine was super helpful and accommodating from the moment we booked, being very responsive and keeping communication open and fluid. The Dar is beautifully decorated and very well located in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast was huge and delicious, served in the beautiful terrace on sunny days.
