Thank you very much for everything. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel owners were very helpful. They were hospitable, friendly, and kind people. Khabib, we will never forget the gesture you made in the morning. Thank you. The location and breakfast were quite good.

Breakfast is nice, but a lot of bread (as everywhere in Marocco I think) and hot water in a shower wasn’t so hot

So nice and cool staff, perfect location, beautiful terrace, nice and cozy room

Extremely helpful staff and convenient Location

    • Deluxe Family Suite

The toilet was designed in an awkward position so can easily have an accident. This was in the ground floor bedroom with the blue doors. The toilet seat was very wobly. The sink was very small. The whole toilet gets wet when you have a shower as the shower cubicle is in front of the sink/comode The hot and cold taps were swapped so initially I thought that there was no hot water. A shelf in the toilet would help considering the sink is very small.

The Staff are extremely helpful. Zainab, Kabil and Muammed went out of their way to make myself comfortable. As a solo traveller, they gave me advice on what to see etc and even came/dropped me at the blue gate when I had to leave early to take tours/trains etc. They arranged a take away breakfast when I had to leave early. AC was working well. I was upgraded to a luxury room on the 2nd floor but chose to stay in the ground floor room as it was a hassle to keep climbing up and down to the 2nd floor.

The bathroom was a bit small and not very fresh

Very kind staff: they prepared for us a take-away breakfast (leaving earlier), they printed our boarding pass for free and they set up a taxi for the airport the last day.

A pocket-friendly Riad with a perfect location. In our experience, not too clean though.

Our room and its cleanliness. Originally, we didn't even book this riad. We reserved it just before leaving the airport, as our previously booked riad canceled on us literally mid-flight. So we booked a stay in Dar Merzouga and took a cab to the center. While the host is nice, and so is the riad, the room we were in was definitely below average. The ceiling was 170cm tall at best + it wasn't too clean. Now, I imagine that we got this "spare" room as a result of our late booking, which would be fine. But something should definitely be done about the cleanliness of that room.

I think the main pluses of this riad are the location, the host, and the breakfast. It's located less than 5 minutes away from the iconic Blue gate. It's also near (but importantly not on) one of the main streets of the Medina. So you get all of the perks of having a great location, without being disturbed at night. The host is very nice and the breakfast is delicious.

A room without windows is weird for an european....I arrived at 5 am and despite having arranged this in advance with the owner no one was there for me....I have to thank the guy from another riad for helping me

The position right at the beginning of the medina....breakfast was huge and very good....the place is quiet and kind of cozy

    The toilet could be improved.

The location is great very close to the blue gate. The most impressive service is the tour guide service . Our guide is an old gentleman called Ahmed (hope I spell the name correct) who provid perfect tour guide with kindness and very educational knowledge about the city and Arabic culture. We strongly recommend this tour guide. Also the landlord himself is very helpful provid professional services all the way through our stay.

There was a bit mold in the room and some noises at night.

Beautiful Riad with rooftop, AC (even though it spit a little), good and big breakfast. It is located in the Medina, which makes it a bit loud at night and little hard to find, but perfect for exploring the area. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was perfect and the hostel met our expectations. The host is a truly kind person, he met us at the Blue Gate and showed us the way until the hostel, than he offered us an amazing mint thé as a welcoming. The room was nice and clean, and we got exactly what we expected. The air conditioning was life-saver and worked perfectly.

They clearly tried to sell us services at double the price, and so far ok... we negotiate.. But then when we purchased a full-bodied package (3 days in the desert) they gave us 1 less lunch, they forced us to stop and eat only at petrol stations, we made fewer stops than the promised (so we saw less thing), and all the days were full of delays and driver screaming because they weren't even organized among themselves. We did 3 hours more in a this one day because we picked up the wrong people who had to go to another city, etc etc... We never really stopped to do anything unless the last day. (The one without lunch). The 5 star riad with the pool was nice, but in a horrible area. We arrived very late so we couldn't use the pool (which is why we had chosen this package), which was disgusting with stagnant water anyway. They refused to pay us for the missing lunch they promised us and did not in any way attempt to make amends, refund part of the money or anything else. Stay there if you want, but don't buy ANYTHING from them.

Amazing breakfast and clean place in the middle of the old Medina. The riad is amazing and they look so kind and friendly, but don't buy any tour from them.
