The street where it located is full of dodgy characters but they did not bother us - no breakfast and hotel is purely functional

The air conditioning was very noisy. Needed turning off at night. Slightly noisy in the morning with construction work.

I really did not expect much from this hotel which I booked last minute for a quick one night trip and it exceeded all my expectations. Spacious, clean, private, nice bathroom and shower, very comfortable and a space to work. It is very well priced (for Luxembourg) and I will definitely stay again if I am in the city as it is right next to the station.

There were two things I didn't like. One was the chair at the desk - it looked fashionable but the seat was hard metal with large, irregular gaps. Had to put a towel down to add some padding. The second was that none of the electrical outlets would continue working if the room key was pulled out of the slot in the wall. I'm in favour of energy saving but it would be helpful to have one plug that still worked so that I could charge a laptop or battery pack while away.

The room was well-furnished and spotless, the location was super convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The wi-fi internet is practically unusable. I never understood these registering required networks. Can someone tell me a password why isn’t enough? I was managed to connect only for once for a couple of minutes.

The hotel is extremely close to the train station. When you exit the station it’s only 30 meters away! The hotel is very shiny and clean. The room is not too big but modern looking. The bathroom is exceptional!

There was a construction site literally outside the window. I booked a room with breakfast. The restaurant was temporarily closed, so I had to go across the street for breakfast.

Breakfast was poor without many options to decide. If someone is taking a shower, he/she is visible from the bed. So this room is only for couple or single people and not for friends.

The location was super convenient. It is very close to the train station and there are any bus stops (plus the stop for the tram) 2 mins far from the hotel.

The staff was first rate!!! Gave great recommendations, very polite and professional :) The room was spotless, it was very very small but had everything I needed. It was surprisingly quiet I only heard 2 planes go overhead, and the window was closed. The location is great since its diagonal from the train station. I walked to most of the places I wanted to go within 20-45 minutes. During the day lots of people, but at night a bit sketchy

Hotel Grey is situated in a central location, 100 metres from the tram stop and main train station in Luxembourg. There is a well-stocked corner shop nearby. The staff is very friendly and I would stay there again when visiting Luxembourg in the future.

It was very hard to change the shower to the 'rain' output. The toilet would occasionally keep on flushing. Fridge wasn't connected to the permanent power. Cookware and utensils were dirty and/or lacking. The hotel is located in one of the worst, if not the worst, streets of the city. During our short stay (4 nights) we witnessed two fights and two harassments.

Our room was very spacious. The staff was very kind and professional. Hotel is located right next to the main train station, making it very suitable for day trips to other parts of the country. Many good food places are in the area as well.

I asked before arriving if there is a place to store our bikes and the hotel answered yes. But when we arrived, the woman at the reception told us that we are not allowed to store our bikes inside. But finally we were allowed but the whole situation was a bit stressful, as our bikes are very expensive and we didn't want to store them outside. In our number the trash in was full when we arrived. So overall I'd say that this hotel is overpriced

I loved the toiletteries (they even gave a serum for face) and a sewing kit . The man at the reception on the second day when we were leaving was very friendly and helpful.

- It was difficult to open a balcony door, maybe some additional insulation must be given - all “things” (tea, coffee, toiletries) were only for one person, but we indicated that two people will be in the room

My one downside would be the breakfast, which is in another building (at a restaurant), where your hotel-card gets you 2 options from the menu there. You'll be more flexible going without a breakfast reservation from the hotel and be able to pick from the entire card.

The location is perfect: close to central station, close to a great restaurant (I loved the food at the ramen restaurant in the same street), the city and many touristic places are very walkable. The room (and the whole building) was always clean. The sound isolation is great and I heard 0 other guests - not even some construction activities outside bothered me. Staff was always friendly and helpful. If I go to Luxembourg again, I'll pick this hotel again without a doubt.
