Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EstoniaThe pillows were almost nonexistent. The room is quite small, it would be challenging to fit 2 people + suitcases. Also, the bathroom was behind a glass wall within the room so you could see the toilet directly from bed - fine for 1 person but might not be the best if sharing a room.
Lovely little hotel in the heart of the city! The room has a beautiful outside area with chairs and even though the location is very central, it was very quiet, in the evening, even a hedgehog was wondering around the yard. The room was super clean and had everything you could need.

Latvia- We found quite a bit of dark hair on the bathroom floor, but there was no broom to clean it up. - The bed was a little narrow for our liking. Overall, we had a great time, but a bit more attention to cleanliness would make it perfect.
- Great location, perfect for exploring. - Beautiful building and a lovely hall with a nice smell. - The kitchen has everything you need, like pans, plates, glasses, mugs, and salt. - The room has a stylish and modern vibe. - We stayed in a room under the roof with air conditioning, keeping the temperature just right. - The staff provided an iron when we asked.

RomaniaThe room needed more airing out. I believe the decorative cushions and the decorative blanket should be washed more often as they don’t have a fresh smell. One annoying thing was the shower, there was water leaking out of the shower hose and the overhead shower head was partly blocked by limescale. The portable air conditioning doesn’t seem to work so beware if you are travelling during high heat.
The property is modern, well located at 10 mins walk from the Old Town and with easy check-in access. A big plus is the free parking space opposite the building.

Wonderful studio apartment in the center of Vilnius! Very convenient location, almost everywhere can be reached on foot. There is free outdoor parking right opposite the building, making it convenient to leave your car without extra costs. The studio is just super, everything looks so new and clean, as if the renovation was completed a couple of days ago. The room has everything you need - a refrigerator, a microwave, even a small portable stove, a kettle, a coffee capsule machine, all the mugs and plates. There were a lot of towels in the bathroom, all perfectly clean, a hair dryer, there was even shower gel, which was useful, since we accidentally forgot ours at home in Riga. And yes, we specifically chose the studio apartment to avoid a transparent wall in the toilet, for those who are unusual for this. TV and a large comfortable and soft bed, perfect! Nice idea with calm music on the first floor - great!
