The warmest welcome from all staff, including the resort manager and Prince, the head of staff training. Our safari guide Avinka was the most knowledgeable and remarkable person. His tour of Yala was an incredible experience, we are so grateful for his expertise. The high tea, cocktails on the point and dinner were absolutely outstanding. The most attentive staff made for a truely wonderful experience. Thank you for having us to stay. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Property had a great design, very environmentally friendly integrated with nature. Staff and food were main highlights - absolutely great service and very flexible with the menu. Attention to detail and guest preferences was also brilliant.

Absolutely incredible experience - a shame that I could only stay for one night because the daily safari was wonderful with an incredibly knowledgable guide. Each of the meals were delicious. I was lucky to experience the BBQ dinner night. The private pool was wonderful. The room itself included everything one could ask for and the decor was sensational.

Access road from main road to hotel is a semi off-road surface, so might not be suitable for everycar...

Such a different room (or I should say tent) style, eveything was as expected from a 5 star hotel. Stayed 1 night, breakfast & dinner options and taste were really good.

Nothing! We loved it!

This is an incredible hotel that exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is hard to fault - the staff regularly went out of their way to meet our needs. The facilities were exceptional - our family pods were very comfortable and the decor classy and in keeping with safari vibes. Kids loved our private plunge pool! The spa was fabulous - possibility one of the best massages I have ever had thanks to experienced therapists. The quality of the food and choice at the restaurant can not be faulted.

The day of our arrival the resort had 17 kids staying and the main restaurant / bar / pool area felt like a big circus with kids screaming, splashing water and running around. It was impossible to enjoy the pool - we ended up taking a swim at 7pm once the pool area quieted down. That said friends of ours went 2 weeks prior after we told them of our reservation and they had only one kid during their stay and apparently the resort felt super serene, so ideally avoid holidays if you rather enjoy a serene environment. For families this is obviously great but as a couple look for peace and quiet at this price tag the kids situation was a bit much - even at the sundowners.. Food was great but service a tad too slow (even when we went late for breakfast with just a few tables being served it took 30min to receive our first food item - felt a tad exaggerated of a wait). Oatmeal also never arrived but after an hour we could not be bothered. Value for money more a 8/10 in light of the above.

Amazing location by the ocean and in the midst of the jungle. They’ve done an amazing job with the tents. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food - loads of options (esp at dinner) and everything was super tasty. Staff super nice, especially our amazing curator Sashi who went out of his way to ensure we had a good time.

A very unique and beautiful hotel. The room was spotless and had a beautiful private pool surrounded by trees, a great mix of tented/safari style and luxury. The staff were all fantastic and the foot was amazing, especially the meal that we had on the beach (shout out to Aishira for his amazing service and providing a birthday cake for my partner). The safari's themselves are very well organised and we saw Elephants, leopards etc. They pre book the entry tickets to the park as well so you go straight to the front of the queue and you have your own, highly knowledgeable, assigned driver and guide for the duration of your. The all inclusive package is also very good and everything you could need is included. Our room host Shak was great too and always responsive via WhatsApp, Venura was another stand out waiter.

beware that december is the rainy season- the road to/from the resort ended up washed out as we were leaving which made it more challenging to leave. the rain also prevented us from using some of the facilities- would recommend going in the dry season for the full experience!

this space was beautiful and staff was exceptional- very kind, friendly, and helpful. super beautiful eco lodge with unique design and delicious interesting food! also very close to the national park which made safaris very interesting- safari guides were great as well.

Leaving!

We just stayed for 3 nights at the Wild Coast to kickstart our honeymoon and have been blown away by this place it is pure magic! The service is exceptional, the food exquisite and the safari experience was fabulous. We were lucky to see leopards twice out of three safari journeys which was another big highlight. This place is faultless, the staff can’t do more for you and you really must visit. Special thanks goes to Rukshan and Eric and the whole dining team, Buddhi our ranger and Sandaruwan who looked after us during our stay.
