The room and facilities are great value for money in a good location with superb hospitality. Breakfast was a different feast every day served on the rooftop with a great outlook.

Watsila resort was situated between Weligama town and Mirissa. The host and resort owner was lovely and took very good care of us. Breakfast served at the roof terrace was tasty and we were able to borrow e.g., snorkeling equipment from the resort. We highly recommend this place and hopefully will visit Watsila again in the future.

We were greeted with the warmest hospitality imaginable from the moment we arrived. Pasindu and his family went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout our nearly two-week stay. He recommended a lot of places to see near Weligama. Each morning, we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Pasindu introduced us to a whole variety of flavors and dishes. As for the room, it had everything we needed for our stay - a comfortable bed, shower, A/C. The local beach is a 10-minute walk. Supermarket - 30min walk, but you can use a bus or tuk-tuk. Bus stops are 10min walk as well. We really enjoyed our time in Weligama. The hosts' kindness and generosity made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you for an experience we will cherish!

It's located next to the train rails which can be a bit noisy during the day. But don't worry, at night the train doesn't run.

There is a railway line nearby so trains keep passing and the place shakes a little bit. But apart from that all good and the price is value for money.

This is a good stay at affordable price, with clean room and bathroom. It’s in between Weligama bay area and Mirissa. The hosts are the best we came across when travelling in Srilanka. Pasindu is the most helpful and very sweet person, soft spoken and very hardworking. Had a great time in knowing his family and interacting with them. He helped us in renting a bike and when unfortunately it got punctured, he himself helped us in getting it fixed. Also, helped in getting the surfing details and in arranging the whale watching (it was a great experience). People are so sweet and they go out of their limits to help any one. The breakfast was good with lots of fruits, bread and omelet and sweet lime dish. We stayed here for 2 nights.

Omg! I just met the perfect host ever! He cares a lot about the place and clients. So warm and nice hosting. And so nice and honest person. Pasindu (the host) helps with everything: give the links to nice places to visit, bought a shower gel (coz I didn’t want to use a soap), gave bike for rent and didn’t want to take money for it, cooked very delicious breakfast and drinks and at the end gave such a grate presents for me. And I wrote postcard for him. It’s lovely place, even the kitchen is in the room, you can cook something you want, the shower is with warm water, bed is big and comfortable, new A/C and cozy garden. Very nice shower with plants. Everything is very clean. If you want to live in lovely and warm place - welcome to Pasindu! :)))

If we had to criticize something, maybe the bath room could be modernized (the water pressure was really low in our room) and it also needs to be mentioned, that the accomodation is located next to the train line (still hear it with earplugs, but for us it was not a big problem, because no trains are running during the night).

Really nice and clean rooms, located close to the beach, where you can take cheap surf lessons, swim and eat at nice restaurants (just a road needs to be crossed). But the most amazing part of this place is the host and his lovely family! He organized a scooter for us (cheapest price we had at Sri Lanka), a barbecue for us and drove us to Polhena beach where we could go snorkeling with turtles (super amazing!). We felt very welcomed, thank you for that! So don't miss this place on your journey!

The hotel is awesome! We stayed there for almost a week and I regret we could not stay longer. The room was big and well furnished (which is unique for Sri Lankan hotels). There is a great place on the roof top for chilling and doing yoga. It is located in 2 minutes walk to the beach. And the host was super helpful and friendly:) Comparing to many overpriced hotels in the region, this one is simply top.

Although the location is close to the railway tracks, we only heard trains twice and that was in the morning as we were waking up anyway. If there were any night trains we slept through them and were not disturbed. Great location close to the beach. 😁

A stay at this location highlights to you that when you have stayed at other places you did not get good value for your money. This place is exceptional, high in standards, facilities and comfort. The service you get from the owner is so much more than other places. The breakfast is truly amazing, they put a breakfast in front of us and it looked like a banquet. Amazing tastes and so so much, massive portions of everything. The owner is an amazing and very kind man who just can not do enough to help you in any way he can.

It’s a little far from the city center but therefore more quiet and the host can assist you with tuk tuk rides.

as mentioned earlier, trains do pass next to the accommodation. I personally didn’t care but my bf is not such a heavy sleeper. we would still stay here again and again!!

This stay was absolutely wonderful and we wish we had it booked for the whole time in Sri Lanka. Pasindu and his family are absolutely wonderful, they made sure we had a great stay. We had amazing breakfasts every day with new fruits and amazing fresh juices! Pasindu as well organized a bbq with other guests and we had an amazing night. we can not stop thanking him for all the small things that made our stay wonderful!!!

The location is right next to the railway and when the train passes by everything squeaks. It's good that not so many trains pass by.

Pasindu is an excellent host, he loves this place and does everything to make his guests feel welcome. He made amazing (and huuge) breakfasts for us (smoothies, omelettes, lots of fresh fruits...). He also organised a common dinner (barbecue and local Sri Lankan food) for everyone which was a great way to socialise with other guests and with him. He also gave us lots of advice. The location is great if you want to spend time in Weligama and Mirissa (its in the middle). The villa is located next to the main road and close to the beach and a very nice restaurant (Fujisan). Also, great place for working remotely.

This guest house was easily the best place we've stayed at in Sri Lanka. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable, AC worked great, and amenities were spot on (fridge, WiFi, nice bathroom, etc). The location is super convenient, as it is situated right between Weligama and Mirissa, so you can easily access both. It is also just a short walk away from the nearest beach. What really what makes this place truly amazing is the wonderful family that owns it. Passandu and his family go above and beyond to make sure that all guests are well taken care of and have everything they need. Taxis, tours, local recommendations, whatever it is you might need, they are there to help. Genuinely just lovely lovely people. :) The included breakfast that was prepared on the rooftop terrace daily was huge and absolutely out of this world delicious. I even got my laundry done while staying there, and it was literal perfection. We are so grateful to have been able to stay with them for the short time that we were in the area. The next time we visit, we will 100% be staying here again. Thank you Passandu for such a lovely stay!

This is the best place! Excellent spacious and comfortable room with everything you need: clothes dryer, adapters, refrigerator. Also in this guesthouse there is a wonderful terrace with beautiful views of both sunset and sunrise (where breakfasts are held). There is also a barbecue area, Pasindu and his family sometimes arrange dinners there for guests. The owner - Pasindu is a wonderful person, helped with any request! Also many thanks to the whole family, they are very friendly, hospitable) This was our first visit to Sri Lanka and this hotel formed a great impression of her! Breakfasts are a special thanks! Every day there is something new, the food is very tasty, there is always a lot of it, and a lot of fruits! I highly recommend this guesthouse! Pasindu, thanks for everything! You are the best!

The place is quite close to railway track, fortunately the trains don't pass by during night, but sometimes you could get woken up by train in the morning.

One of the best places we stayed at. Brand New apartment, equiped with everything you need. Stylish and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the host and his family were incredibly helpful.
