Simply perfect. There was our last three days in Sri Lanka and it was more than expected. Beautiful hotel with amazing tropical garden one step from the ocean. Super clean, very stylish, better than in photos. Nice staff, good food and coctails and the nicest hosts. Dear Myriam and Jean thank you for everything, we really loved it!

Having to leave.....

We spent a week here after busy travels and it's a fantastic place to stay and relax. It's run by the really lovely and sociable couple, Myriam and Jean, who are the perfect hosts, immediately making us feel at home. It was lovely to get to know them too. The restaurant staff were exceptional, Kumara and Pati, who looked after us all and made our two boys feel special. The grounds are really well looked after and the rooms are just right, very comfortable and clean. We were next to the pool (lovely too) and found that we had it to ourselves most of the time. The location is very quiet and away from the busy-ness of some of the other beaches, that suited us perfectly, and everything is only a short tuk tuk away. Breakfast was great and we had lunch and dinner on many occasions and the food was always really good, especially the specials. We had surfing lessons with Jean and he was the perfect teacher. We all managed to stand up! A big thank you from all of us to Jean and Myriam. We'll see you again in the future!

This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly, the property is modern and clean, the food is very good and the owners are very friendly and nice people! You can enjoy the beach, take a surf lesson or rent a board if you want, or have a swim in the pool. We enjoyed staying every second. Highly recommended!

Everything was splendid!

The property is beautifully designed and the build quality of the villas and rooms is very high. It’s located on an uncrowded beach with few houses and great waves. The owners are the best and most experienced hosts we’ve ever had and made us feel at home and welcome from the first minute we arrived. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel in paradise. Bonus: a superb pool area and heavenly yet affordable massages and great food.

Have to go away!

The location is just perfect, in front of a beach paradise surrounded by coconut trees, close to the Matara center but at the same time in a peaceful area, perfect to rest after a day of adventures. The gardens and the pool are so amazing, the villa was super comfortable and well decorated, just like the whole hotel. We had incredible meals in front of the beach. Sri Lanka is so amazing, people always with a smile and willing to help. Is a safe country to visit, with an incredible culture and really nice food. Thank you so much to Myriam and Jean for receiving us so well and for all the incredible tips and organized activities about Sri Lanka. We spent wonderful moments in this hotel and we will miss everything so much.

Everything! The hosts are wonderful and the gardens, pool and rooms are beautiful. the beach is lovely and quiet and great for surfing and Axel, the surf instructor, was really helpful. There’s also a lovely boutique and the restaurant food is delicious. Sad we couldn’t stay for longer!

- There was a camera on the porch of our room which felt a little excessive and so we didn't really sit there despite it being a nice space

- The photos are very accurate and if anything place is so much better in person - Super friendly family-run hotel with fantastic and helpful staff - The location is incredible with a beautiful beach at your doorstep as well as a great pool - Really great and varied food with daily chef specials that we particularly enjoyed - Surf instructor on-site (Axl - the son of the owners!) who was really patient and fun. You can also rent the surf boards to practice in your own time - This place is perfect for a retreat and to experience the Sri lankan coast on a almost private and beautiful beach, however, it is a little far from other places if you are considering visiting other places along the coast (and also difficult to leave!) - Very helping in helping us with airport transfers, tuktuks and local recommendations - Generator worked throughout our stay through the scheduled power cuts so it was a comforatble stay

Overall a fantastic stay. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The onsite restaurant has an excellent chef with daily specials. All of the staff along with the hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the direct access to the to the beach and even took advantage of their on site surf lessons and rentals. I would highly recommend staying here and taking a surf lesson!

This boutique hotel is run by a very warm and welcoming family and staff making our stay a complete joy. They arranged a great-tasting special vegetarian food option for us every lunch/dinner during our stay. Also, we enjoyed an amazing 6 day surf lesson with the hotel’s professional surf instructor Axel, who is both a great teacher and very fun to hang out with. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to surfing! After the lesson we usually ended up in the hotel lounge/restaurant area facing the ocean for an amazing caipirinha. Simply put, we’re very pleased with our stay!

We had an awesome stay in a beach villa, literally a few meters away from the beach. Perfect Beach break for surfers. Breakfast was extraordinary and lunch and dinner was prepared by a chef who worked in numerous 5-star places before - we were surprised by the quality and taste every day :) The cheesecake is also a must! The owners really made us feel like home and we had a great time with them. We will come be back next year!
