Turtle Paradise was in an amazing location beside Rekawa turtle beach. It had the friendly atmosphere of a hostel, but also had private rooms with super comfortable king sized beds and en suite bathroom. We ate at the hotel both nights, dinner cooked by the lady of the family. Very delicious and cheap. Her son drove us to our next stop. Altogether, incredibly helpful and so lovely sitting in the dining room/ living room playing board games and chatting with other travellers. Would highly recommend.

Great stay, nice room facing to the garden with outside patio, very close to the amaizing turtle beach. Hosts very kind and helpfull. Nice restaurant with drinks and fresh sea food.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, lots of bugs and a frog at one stage.

Family run. Great location near turtle conservation. We were greeted with fresh papaya juice. The room was spacious with mosquito nets and AC. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic - fresh fruit, tea/ coffee and rotti with Dahl. Everyone was very friendly and attentive.

Wifi is hardly working on top floor. Place is a bit isolated so it was hard to get a taxi to bus stop, but son of the owners was so helpfull to bring us with his car.

We most liked all the acrobatic tours the squirrels make in and around this paradise. Lovely views, spacious room and great balconies.

The room was comfortable and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Retaurant food was very good. Quite close to the beach. If you are interested in turtle watching, this property is very close to the conservation group at the beach.

We had a few power cuts on the first day but this seemed to sort itself out for subsequent nights.

Perfect location for watching the turtles at night. Very peaceful and quiet location away from the main tourist areas. Lots of local eateries serving amazing food. The hotel itself served amazing food and even baked a cake to celebrate my son's birthday. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

Nothing to dislike whatsoever.

The architecture was wonderful. The hotel felt that you were in a tree house in the middle of the jungle. It was brilliant. Our room was lovely and clean and the air conditioning was good. The sitting out terraces on each floor are a great place to relax in the shade and the top roof terrace is the place to watch the sunset over the lagoon The inclusive breakfast was excellent. Coffee, fruit platter and different Sri Lankan curry every day. Evening meal was good too. The location of hotel is one of the best for visiting the turtle watch. Just a minute away by foot. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Friendly hosts, clean and very comfortable rooms, delicious food and super helpful! We loved the tuk tuk rides and also getting to see turtles laying eggs. Fabulous location.

It is quite isolated which is a strength and a weakness.

I had a lovely room. The hosts were kind and helpful. They take credit cards (which is a bonus to me). Very close to beach that has very few other people, it's quite isolated.

We absolutely loved staying here we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived absolutely amazing staff and beautiful hotel. We went canoeing in the evening with lukeman had an amazing time. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was tastefully designed and provided every comfort. The unique location, serving as an ideal starting point for turtle observations, is particularly noteworthy. The accommodation even notifies when turtles are nearby – a real highlight for nature enthusiasts! Additionally, the family went above and beyond by delivering breakfast to our balcony, which was especially delightful!

Wifi works very well in the comfortable, welcoming dining area, not very good in the rooms or on our balcony. Not sure why the description includes fireplace. Didn't see one anywhere.

This is a pretty homestay 200 metres from the beach. The area of the beach the turtles come ashore. This is not a swimming beach. It is a beautiful, wild beach with sand that you sink into as you walk. Loud, booming waves you can hear from the homestay. We had a very nice room with a big, private balcony. Lots of birds and squirrels, sometimes monkeys, come to visit. We stayed 7 glorious days. Most people stay one or two; just coming for the turtles. We liked the peace, the village life, the glorious wild beach and our lovely hosts.

Very nice place, the hosts are very helpful and caring ! They offered me a very good juice when I arrived and the breakfast was very good ! 1 min buy walk from the beach !
