The house needs to be renovated a bit such as wall painting. Unfortunately, there was no shampoo and body wash.

The accomodation is near a lake and we took some bicycles to ride to Anarathapura. Hotel manager Prageeth was very kind and offered us a very good breakfast and dinner. It was really delicious. He gave us two bicycles and laundry washing for free. He cared for a took took driver and helped us with every request. Water was free of charge. There was a nice swimming pool with day beds to relax. Beds are comfortable and clean.

The staff are exceptional and make the stay so enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was the best we have eaten in 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.

Great service. Pool was really nice and clean. Rooms were perfect and breakfast was great. They arranged a tuktuk to drive by all the historical sites (going in the weekend was great).

Simply everything was great! The whole stay felt like a 5-stars experience. First of all the room was huge, comfortable, with A/C, good bed and pillows. Plus the owner Jam was the greatest possible, he offered to do my laundry for free, plus the free usage of the bike was very handy to see the Ancient Town. Think not twice, this is the best place in the whole region!

Very welcoming host, great breakfast, they arranged bikes for us free of charge and sorted everything out when one of them broke. AC worked, great peaceful location a little further from city, easy to get there by bike via a nice lakeside trail.

Superfriendly and welcoming staff, rooms are spacious, very clean and luxurious. Nice swimmingpool . The staff is great, they even made breakfast and lunch to take away at 4.30 in the morning when we went for the safaripark Wilpattu. For a good dinner you can walk to the hotel next door, otherwise take a tuktuk into town (10 min)

Don’t expect luxury at this price; the rooms are adequate and the A/C works! The location is a bit too far from the centre of town to go out to eat, although we went to the hotel next door and had a lovely meal.

The manager and his staff members, especially Tharindu Kavishanka, are super helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to make us feel right at home. We were treated to a home cooked meal and got to watch Tharindu cook. They did our laundry for free. They sat down with us for lovely chats. What a great atmosphere!

Rooms are really big, nice lobby room as well. Breakfast was really luxury. Also nice swimming pool. But the very best was our host Sanjaya Kumara, good recommendation of diners to eat or spots for sightseeing, he spoiled our son as well with treats!

It was one of the best places i have stayed over my 6 weeks trip in Sri Lanka. The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable and there was AC (which I really appreciated). The host was kind and helpful, he prepared me delicious breakfast and helped me to arrange a tuktuk driver.

We had a great time during our stay at Thinaya Lake Resort. It's a beautiful place and the family is lovely. They gave us a lot of recommandations about the main points of interest to visit, they even arranged for us a tuktuk driver, a lovely person as well. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing, and they also offered a welcoming fresh juice :)

The host sanjaya is very helpfull person.there was a very bad pain in my foot end of the day.there is a good ayurvedic centre near the resort and he arranged ayurvedic treatment for me for a reasonable price..pool was clean .kids friend environment.

Breakfast is very delicious. Worth the price. 25 meters to Kandy Lake. There was a very friendly staff. The cleanliness of the rooms and surroundings is very high . There is a clean summing pool .
