The only thing we would’ve changed was one of the mosquitoe nets had a hole in it, which I’m sure they can repair easily.

We loved everything about this hotel so much and Lakshitha made it super special for us! It’s stunning right on the beach, they brought us lovely drinks whenever we wanted, the food was yummy and overall super clean, stunning room!

COCKROACHES. We opened the door right after check in and saw a cockroach that put us off. The room service person assured it won't happen again but that wasn't the case. Had to complain again on my third day after which they used some sort of spray. They really need to do something for a permanent fix as this just spoils your mood on vacation. Also I was surprised to see lot of basic things missing for the price point. The room does not have a calling bell and you don't really hear the knocking of the room service people. Some of the locks are not working. There is no hair dryer on the room though they would provide if asked. Maybe they would need to refresh the hotel a bit.

Great location right next to the beach. You can walk to parrot rock, Mirissa beach, turtle beach and coconut hill. Two wheeler rental, laundry, restaurants all nearby. The grounds look stunning in the night and you can listen to the waves all day.

Not much - basically perfect!

Stunning hotel right on the beach with great food, sunbeds and staff. Room was beautifully done and staff went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed during out very chilled out stay.

No fault of the hotel, but we did not like Mirissa. Head to beaches further east for a more chill atmosphere and less crowds. Also, for swimmers, the sea if very rough here.

Incredible breakfast which is included in your stay. Very lovely hotel, room was beautiful, soothing colors, we had a great view of the beach from our room. Sam, the manager, is super friendly and helpful. Great beach area with lounge chairs, although lots of comfy places to sit on beach get taken early in the day. Nice vibe, but on the expensive side.

Everything! it was a wonderful stay at the end of our Sri Lanka Trip. Quiet Beach, nearby we coul snorkel with seaturtles. The food was excellent. Very very good breakfast. We coult choose everything on the menu. Time didn't matter. The beach was just in front of our beautiful room with a little privat garden. The staff was very friendly and helpful if you had a question.

We did not know they do not accept credit card. It was quite a hassle and caused us a bit of stress coming up with the $$. No receipt issued either after we paid. It felt a bit dodgy.

The property is right on the beach only metres away. The rooms were comfortable and overlooked the ocean.

The beach and the relaxed atmosphere and vibes. The privacy aspect since it looked like an isolated area, different than the surrounding. Very good breakfast and staff really kind and friendly.

Amenities could have been a little better - kettle provided in room with cups and mugs ( they sent one when we asked) and a king bed would be nice for such a large room.

The location was incredible, right on the ocean with lovely cabanas outside our room! And our room was lovely, we could hear the waves lapping at night. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price and available all day. We just messaged through whatsapp when we wanted it. They included as any coffees and juices as we liked. We used the free surfboards and also swam with turtles right out front.

Beautiful boutique hotel a bit outside the crowdy and more noisy part of Mirissa. Nice private beach area. Amazing food. And the service was excellent. The place is very aesthetic and beautiful. Would recommend!

Slight inconvenience that it’s cash only - especially to pay for your rooms which usually exceeds the cash point limits.

Absolutely everything - it is the perfect hotel, in a perfect part of Sri Lanka. They have got everything so right. You cannot miss this hotel if you’re visiting the south.

had a great time there and can fully recommend to stay there (we have been there 5 days). However, it is maybe not best value for money. Rooms are rather basic, for the money you pay they could be nicer.

Amazing location just at the beach. Best food on our whole Sri Lanka trip - it’s so good that you don‘t even notice that it‘s all plant-based. The best feature: you can order breakfast à la carte as much as you like (!) and at which time you like (!). Once I came back from scuba diving at noon and still ordered breakfast, no problem. Also the staff (Sam and team) are great and take care for all issues.

The simple doubleroom felt not comfortable, as the bathroom was way too small, too wet (the humidity of your clothes after being in the water did not go away), and the room had no shelf to put your luggage at. The window grilles did not allow a real beach view as we expected. You could still hear noise from the main street, although, this maybe common in Mirissa. The small bed was not comfortable for us. Maybe the deluxe rooms offer more comfort or beach view but it overall feels too pricey as we had much better rooms in Sri Lanka. This is why we would not come back even though we liked the place itself.

The Slow is located at one of the most beautiful beaches in Mirissa, which is just beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for bathing and Surfing. Also you can walk to every activity in Mirissa within a few minutes. Breakfast was best we had in Sri Lanka - for example delicious scrambled Tofu, smoothie bowl and porridge, we loved all the vegan options. Great is that you can order as much as you want and have breakfast at any time. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was the most expensive place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Was pleased the breakfast was included otherwuse it would have cost alot as rather small portions. We ate dinner one night which was delicious but quite expensive, especially things like plain pasta which our daughter loved but was a pretty small amount for the price.

Loved the location right on the beach. Excellent service with a welcome and farewell drink included. Very clean room and facilities.
