Aircon is a bit old model which noise may annoying, but not a big issue. it would be better if they can upgrade AC. :)

The people are really helpful, room is clean and breakfast also good. The view from the room is amazing.

For some people can be the distance to citycenter a bit problem. But by arranging tuc tuc drive is not far. Even by walk is the citycenter only 15-20 minutes far.

We really appreciate our host who was so helpfull. Even he by picked us or drive to railway station for reasoable price. Moreover we loved homemade breakfest served on terrace with stuning view on Kandy.

The wi-fi connection was not so strong in our room, but in the main hall it worked well.

The only thing was that there was no window in the bathroom. It was just an open space with wood in front of it, so animals can walk in any time.

We stayed here for 1 night, and personally this is fine. We relaxed here after our long journey. The room was comfy, enough space, and good bathroom.

Our stay at this hotel in Kandy was fantastic. The location was great, and the small garden had stunning views. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. But what really made our stay special was how helpful the staff were. They arranged drivers for us to different places, including one to Nuwara Eliya who turned out to be the nicest person we met in Sri Lanka. They took care of everything for us, making our time in Kandy hassle-free. Overall, we had a wonderful experience thanks to the hotel staff. We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy. It's like a home away from home.

Blind was broken in one room but was no problem. Bit of train tooting one night but that’s to be expected in Kandy.

The view is beautiful! You can hear and see Kandy but you don’t have to be in the hustle and bustle. Staff were very helpful even organising a driver for us the day we left. For the price this is an excellent place. And only three rooms.

The airport transfer arranged by the property was not very good. We wanted direct from the airport to the hotel after a long flight but our driver insisted on bringing us to several tourist trap stops along the way. We felt very pressured to spend our money and it was made awkward by the fact we were sharing the transfer with another couple staying at the property. Also this transfer was very overpriced and meant we arrived to the property quite exhausted and frustrated.

The staff working in the Buena Vista were so friendly and accommodating (Puvannesh and Sampath) and the property was in a lovely quiet area with a great view of the city below.

For people that like to walk it is not possible because it is uphill. At least for us it wasn’t because we had a stroller and there is no side walks

It is a little run down but they appear to be making an effort to tidy up the place and do some maintenance.

I loved the building and location. View was spectacular. Breaky was great and it's nice having such a small 3 room hotel. It feels like your home.

A very stylish property with fabulous views over Kandy. Wonderful staff who provided a delicious breakfast. We had missed dinner one evening and when I asked for a couple of bananas, was instead presented with a pot of tea, bananas and biscuits!

A bit difficult to understand how to get there

Peaceful place with an amazing view over Kandy. Host was very friendly - we arrived earlier than check-in time and he prepared the room for us. Bed is super comfortable.
