It's not the hotel's fault, but there were a lot of mosquitoes... the bed has mosquito net, so I had a good sleep, still, it was bit annoying

It was one of the most beautiful properties with affordable prices, and it was a great place to stay. The hotel staff, Sanju, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the stay

The tiles in the pool are in some places very sharp and can hurt (something to be careful with). When checking-out we were told we needed to pay cash, so we had to run to an ATM, it's worth knowing in order to have cash when checking-out.

The room was spacious and had all the facilities we needed (kettle, fridge). It was just so nice to have the private pool and we really enjoyed it, it was a very good value for money!

On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating, there was nothing we couldn’t ask for that we wouldn’t receive! Our room was amazing for the price we paid, we had an extremely comfortable stay and the rooms are only a short walk to a nearby beach and the town. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Tangalle :)

We had apartment without private pool but the accommodation was still very good. Room was spacious, clean and with AC and mosquito net over bed. We used pool by the lobby and restaurant that was clean and big with spaces to comfortably sit. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no functional window in the bathroom that lets in light and the lights in the bathroom are really dim so it's difficult to get ready in the small mirror over the sink. I would suggest putting a full length mirror in the room somewhere. Also some kind of sun lounger by the pool would be great to lie down on (there is a table and chairs). Location on google maps is wrong so might be difficult to find the first time.

I LOVED this property and wish I stayed longer. Location was great as they have a little shortcut to get to the beach. Staff were so great, they let me check in a little early when I arrived because the room was ready. They gave me all the information I needed I didn't need to ask any questions. I found the room spacious, clean and the bed was really comfy with a mosquito net. Private pool was great too of course.

Not so much! The mirror is only outside the room (with outside shower) and not in the toilet. So would be an addition to have! The guys who work there do not understand everything, we’re a bit vague, so you need to be very clear.

Love the pool! And the location and that it is central but not noisy at all is super nice. Next to the bus if needed. Outside shower and room we’re neat and great. Even had monkeys popping by the pool!

Beautiful hotel in great location with an excellent service. Owner is a wonderful, caring and helpful person. He recommended us restaurant, money exchange place and agreed to later check out. We could also left our luggage in the hotel till the late evening. We get a private bungalow with a private pool. Both hotel and the bungalow were very clean. The place is calm and quiet. Coffee at the terrace, where you can hear singing birds, is a perfect way to start a day. The hotel is close to both - city centre and beach (there are a few entrances to property).

There was one tiny problem during our stay in there - the internet signal was poor...

We stayed in this hotel for a week but in the end of our staying we decided to book one more week in here! Delicious free breakfast each morning (they had 3 different options including fresh fruits, juice and tea/coffee). Room was very clean with private pool (water was always clean and filtered), we had shower just outside surrounded by local plants and it gave very unique vibe (if you are scared of little bugs or spiders they have rooms with indoors shower as well). Air conditioner and fan was also in the room and it helped a lot during hot days inside. They do provide all toiletries you need and do room service. There was no noise around even tho the hotel itself is in the city centre. The beach is like 5min walk. Staff was amazing! Very helpful and always with the smile!

My only criticism would be to have a mirror in the room

Wow where do I start! I stayed at Anama for my birthday and they went above and beyond to accomodate me and my family. They arranged for a cake on the morning of my birthday, the manager was always around to ask questions and ask for local advice, he was kind, the accomodation was a short 5 min walk from the beach and right in the town, the room was amazing and had its own private pool, the rooms were super spacious. Overall a great stay.

The design, the private pool, location, and the friendly staff were great! The room was also quite comfortable and breakfast was nice. We would come back!
