The hotel was in a great location and very clean. Customer service was excellent. We had a small problem with our air conditioning and it was looked after very quickly. The pool area was lovely and chilled and food was delicious. The staff also suggested things to do and places to eat.

Pool seemed a bit murky, constant loud construction noises (on sight) throughout the day, at one point on the room next to us.

Staff could have been better at managing other disruptive guests (a group blaring out music and their own karaoke from the rooftop). We actually decided to leave the pool and go to the beach because they were so annoying. The pool could also do with extra sunbeds, but sounded like they had already ordered some more.

Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with coffee making equipment in the room. We also had a balcony with a couple of chairs on. Bathroom was also great, good shower and spacious. Rooftop pool was a highlight with great views to the ocean. Breakfast was ok and same as what other hotels we stayed at offered. Location was great, can access the beach just across the road with some great restaurants. Short walk to turtle point and coconut tree hill and short tuk tuk to Welligama for surf.

Breakfast was buffet and a bit hit and miss. Lots on offer though. The price of the rooms is more dear and I am not sure the price tag is fully justified.

Great location, rooftop pool with great views of mirissa and good for checking surf. Rooms are large and spacious.

Unfortunately you pay extra for a sea view but that means you are next to the road as the hotels not beachside and you have to put up with traffic noise. Unfortunately, the hotel has no soul and is very expensive double beer prices than anywhere else.

The door to our room didn’t shut properly, my husband had to pull it towards him to lock, I didn’t have the strength. I asked 4 times for extra pillows as we only had 1 each, but never got them so gave up in the end. There could have been more sun beds around the pool for people to lie on, and then they would have in turn used the bar facilities.

Lot of things actually - the overall vibe of this place is not welcoming, after reading reviews of theft in Somerset hotels I was constantly under stress about getting robbed and used to carry my money and electronics everywhere with me. I did not see any professionalism or strictness from staff on who could enter the hotel, there were maintainence guys roaming around with their drilling machines, one day I order some glasses and 1 server along with 2 other random people are knocking at my door to deliver glasses. I mean 3 people to deliver 2 glasses, weird no ? On the night of 30th December around 12AM, when me and my wife were sleeping, someone started knocking on the door very hard snd tried to open it multiple times. When I screamed from inside “who is this”, I could hear 2-3 people talking and they immediately ran away. I called the reception no action was taken the same day and their response on the next day was that some guys were having a party in the room above and they mistakenly tried to barge into your room. Extremely weird and stressful experience. As there are no Cameras in the hotel you can’t know anything. The breakfast was really sad, cold pizzas and noodles for breakfast ? Only the egg station was good. As for their restaurant, I ordered fries and wedges as well one day, the wedges were served burnt. In fact I only had breakfast on 2 days, the rest two days I skipped. Also, I paid around 120$ for a night which I feel was too much considering the services and facilities they offer. I did not find to be good VFM

New hotel so the place is fairly clean, very big high ceiling sea view rooms offers good view, all facilities are available including a fast wifi and infinity pool is good too. They gave me a late checkout as well which was really good on their part and maybe making up for the mess which got created during my stay which I have explained below.

Constant feeling that you are at “unfinished” hotel, blank walls, construction workers around all the time. We wanted to order sandwich at 21:30 and we were told restaurant in not open (according to hotel brochure restaurant shoud be open up to 22:00). Breakfast was more or less okay, but it definitely could improve (sorry to say it was the worst that we had during our 10 days in Sri Lanka, or maybe we were just very lucky in other 6 places). No beachtowels/pooltowels were provided. What I liked the most about this hotel is that it was just in front of amazing beach club with amazing food, coffee and pool.

The pillows are very uncomfortable. The hotel is new, but furniture doesn't feel solid and it is moving 🙈 The doors seems to be cheap as it had quite big gaps between.

The staff was super friendly! Especially we liked manager, kitchen chef and the girl at reception ❤️ For dinner we did eat fresh fish (2500 rupees per person) and it was delicious! The view from swimming pool is amazing! The room was clean and well equipped.

Restaurant opposite blasts out music in the evening at an uncomfortably loud volume, though it shuts at 10:30pm so it is quiet enough after that. You need to be aware that the hotel is still under construction, so only the seaview rooms and rooftop pool/restaurant are complete, however, this did not disturb our stay in the slightest so don't let it put you off!

Rooms were huge and comfortable. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Fully credit to Sahan for bringing all his experience from his years at the Marriott in Dubai and Colombo. Good location close to the main strip but far enough out to be peaceful. The restaurant and pool area are the highlights with a great view.
