Cost as much as a 4 star hotel in Colombo. And am told that because it was August, I was paying half the price they normally charge during tourist season!

Lack of net for bathroom window allows entry to mosquitoes and other insects. No wifi in bathroom.

Location: Right on the beach, beach restaurants right next door (no noise) Main street with shops at 100 meters and supermarket about 300 meters away. Room is relatively spacious, given there are is a double and a single bed. Cupboard provides storage space. Very practically equipped - mosquito net around bed, lots of clothes hangers, two shelves to place items on, broom for the sand, broom-like item to clean up water in the bathroom, lots of plugs, also on both sides of the bed (local and European plugs). Management and staff (two people) were very nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast, with eggs, toast snd jam, yoghurt vegetables and locsl fruit, served right outside the room, at the time you request. Beach towels, sunbeds and bodybords available for free. Value for money (with breakfast, a little less than 60 Euro/ night, incl. taxes).

The location is amazing, literally a few steps to the beach, sunbeds placed where you want them, plenty of shade provided if needed. Large grounds and free hammocks and body boards. Rooms spotless and air conditioned for arrival. Tea and coffee and kettle, cups, and glasses in rooms. Staff are so friendly and seem know what you need before you do. Toiletries provided, amazing breakfast, and they have so many suggestions and advice regarding the local area does and donts.

We stayed in a family room with two king size beds and a wooden partition between them. This made the room a bit cramped. The owner could consider removing the partition and rearranging the furniture in the room to create a bit more space. The bathroom door also needs a bit of attendance.

The location of the property is terrific. It is literally on the beach in an area dotted with restaurants and water sports on Mirissa beach. The owner of the property Sira and his colleague Sampath were fabulous hosts and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasing. Breakfast was nice.

Access to the hotel and to the beach is somewhat compromised. No restaurant in house. Two very busy and noisy restaurants both next doors.

People and location are wonderful. On our last day we got an amazing Sri Lanka breakfast. No time limit for breakfast. Best area on Marissa Beach. We loved this place.

There was mosquitos in our room, but the weather made the mosquitos come, so that is just to be expected in Sri Lanka.

This place is so nice. The service is incredible, the owner and his staff do everything for you.Really helpfull and so kind to our kids. Breakfast war really nice. Pancakes, fruit, bacon, toast, marmelade, youghurt, eggs and juice. We would love to come back one day.

Great breakfast and helpful hosts. One of the guys helped us reserve a whale-watching trip for a good price. Sunbeds are included in the price, which is cool. There's a good beach right near the property, suitable for swimming. The rooms are very basic and not new, but good-equipped. The table outside is great for reading and relaxing, especially if it's raining. The owner recommended a great place with Sri Lanka food. We also found a good souvenirs shop Sadaruwan
