The property is great and in close location the the lake and only a 10 minute walk into the centre of kandy! The host is honestly so helpful and we left AirPods there and he got someone to bring them to us on the train at our next destination in Sri Lanka! Can’t explain how amazing the service is here and to top it all off the breakfast is unreal with great portion sizes and all made perfectly

Home Stay with a Hotel Stay experience. Good location. Neat room with basic facilities. Owner is available 24x7. For me, this place made special because of the way of hosting. I was sick and Owner helped me by providing nutritious food to make me back to normal. Extended from one night to two. Really made me comfortable.

Great hostel in Kandy. The staff was very attentive and friendly, kindly looking after us after some of the group fell sick after eating some bad food outside. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property is in a great location within walking distance to the temple and the downtown area.

Everything was fantabulous...! It was very comfy, pleasant and cozy stay. All the amenities were there and the room was clean, beds were comfy, great temp showers. Really friendly propertier, manger was very engaging and friendly and all the staff was really friendly. Few minutes away from Temple of tooth and city center. Love the vibe, aesthetics and surround really soothing. One of a kind experience.

Nice accommodation in Kandy! So, in Kandy, life revolves around the lake. There are basically four sides of it - the crazy hectic side with the train station and the caffes and tourists, the temple side with the world-famous temple of the tooth relic which is also quite busy due to all the visitors, the sightseeing empty promenade side and the far corner of the lake, where the views are great and tourists are few - the quiet side. This side is where the Settle In Lodge is at. It is about 10 minute walk to the temple or 15/20 min walk to the "center" of the town - very pleasant walk by the lakeshore, by the way. I thoroughly enjoyed walking back and forth and staying someplace quiet. The accommodation itself was basic but nice, the room was spacious, WiFi was probably the best I encountered in Sri Lanka, they had the breakfast option too (I did not book that). The landlord was a high energy cool guy who organized my pickup and drop off at fair price and the communication was fast and on point. Would definitely recommend this place for those wanting to stay on the quiet side of Kandy!

The room is a bit dark since you can not open the windows. The owner was a bit hard to find at times but still helpful :)

Its a good location, very close to the lake and 5 min from the sacred tooth temple, 10-15 min to the main bus stop. The room was very well equiped with an AC and a small refrigerator. Bathroom also fully functioning with hit water. The setting outside is nice with many tables to hang out or eat breakfast and dinner :)

Friendly manager, great aircon and internet, very comfortable. Some other reviews say it’s a long walk from town but I disagree, it’s not far at all and the walk takes you around the beautiful Kandy lake!

Could have been cleaner, some mould on wipeable window. Somehow white towels got really dirty being hung up and unsure how or where within the room, something must've been dirty. My friend wasn't a fan of the resident ?polecat in the roof or the pet gecko we had in our room but it was very cute No nets and mosquitos could come in through vent in the bathroom.

The location is at the end of the lake. You need to take a tuktuk or walk into the town or the bus station. If you prefer to stay in the town it is a little bit away but it is peaceful and close to the lake.

The room is very comfortable & very clean. The staff are very kind and helpful. The owner is knowledgeable about travelling around and can help with a lot of things.

there were nothing that bad but the room is kinda little old but due to its aesthetic value i accept it. it toook little time to cool the room for the a/c machine

the aesthetics was nice and calm environment. room was quiet place. very free area. me and my partner had a good time there. even at the middle of the night we had enough support.

Really lovely and helpful host who always helped with our questions. The room was really clean, great aircon and had lots of little touches that we haven't seen in other accomodation that made it really comfortable. A walk into town but not too far.
