Great location, quiet part of Galle yet easy to get around. In keeping with the heritage listed area and truly wonderful views from rooftop balcony, enjoyed watching family life, cricket, cows and kites. Good food and all the staff were willing and extremely helpful. Family owners very friendly, genuine , accessible and helpful.

Asked for a transfer, driver was good but probably has another ride after ours and was quite hurried, leaving us under a tree in the rain waiting for the Yala safari jeep to pick us up. Also quite pricey versus pick me for instance

Receptionist was not able to help very much with onward travel which would have been helpful! I eventually got some information about the bus to Kandy which was great, although it left 20 mins earlier than what they said so was glad I’d left early!!

Such a comfortable room, really well put together. Great location - very easy to find. Good facilities including tea and coffee, large ensuit, toiletries all provided and a lovely roof terrace.

We had two rooms - one of them had a bit of a smell which I think was just due to the humidity and it was fine once we ran the AC for a bit.

Excellent location and very friendly owner and staff. Fantastic roof terrace where we had drinks in the evening and watched a local game of cricket being played below. Very good curry in the evening.

Great location inside the fort facing where sun sets. Terrace was beautifully arranged for sunset viewing. Room itself was big, had aircon and spacious shower. Staff were accommodating for a very early morning check-out.

The owner was very helpful and friendly as was the staff. My room with bathroom was spacious and clean and the view from the terrace so nice! The food was really good as well, I loved the Sri Lankan breakfast. 😍 I would definitely come back here. 😊

Naman and his staff are very welcoming, friendly and provide a wholesome home away from home experience. I had a rough day on arrival but they made me relaxed and feel at home. I felt Buddhist values and virtues which I was very lucky to experience during my stay in Sri Lanka. Excellent seaside location, metres away from seaside fort walls. Amazing fort and sea views from balcony and rooftop. Excellent seaside base to stroll to other parts of the fort. My room with separate bathroom was spacious with high ceiling and quality furniture and fittings. Very comfortable King size bed and pillows. Hot water, fan and air-conditioning was great. Electric kettle was a welcome addition for that early morning cuppa. Wifi was excellent. I enjoyed Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner very much. Fish curry and rice means you are also given dhal, vegetable curry, salad, chutney etc. Excellent cook 👍

I would suggest adding anti-slip materials to the stairs as I broke my arm falling down them when they were wet from the rain.

No fridge in the room. Water in the shower is warm in the afternoon, cold in the morning, not hot at all.

The guesthouse has a good location, helpful personnel. There is kettle in the room, wifi was good.

Breakfast is slightly overpriced

The photos don’t do this place justice. It’s so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious with a walk-in shower. We loved Pirate, the owner’s dog, who kept us company morning and night. The rooftop area is perfect for watching sunset over the fort and watching locals play games of cricket. The location is in walking distance from everything in the fort. Wish we could have stayed longer!

They have a very good nice cute dog, and very nice people, perfect location near the sea to play with the dog on the grass, and see the sunset with the dog.

A service charge was added on so just to be aware but we had no problem paying as the staff were lovely!

Location was fantastic with lovely views over the ramparts. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the communal terrace overlooking the old walls. Our room was spacious with air con and toiletries.

Beautiful clean rooms in lovely old building in the fort area. Great breakfast. Owner arranged a fantastic Tuk Tuk tour of area for us , pricing was very clear and fair.
