It is very cold in the house/bedroom. The room is a bit dark and the wi-fi is very weak

The hosts were super nice and helped us with the itinerary for the day. They also arranged us a very good tuk tuk that made us very fair prices. It had a small common kitchen which is useful.

Our stay at Pigeons Nest was great. We had many recommendations from the hosts, get to relax in the living area with a bonfire and tasty breakfast. You should go and try!

We visited the place on a very stormy day and had some water leaking in the room as well as quite some wind entering the room. Still we had a fantastic stay as the room is so spacious and has a wonderful view.

Very spacious room with mezzanine. Shower was great! Beds were excellent. The service from the boy preparing the breakfast and arranging the fireplace at night is outstanding.

Akram was really helpful. I arrived in nuwara eliya with no plans and had informed him really last min at 7pm the day before I needed a tour. He arranged Juli as my tuktuk driver and guide - it was my most memories night in sri lanka. Juli is a really good photographer as well! Takes really nice photos and gives good recommendations. Thank you for the stay!!

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good room for a short stay - we had one without any view/balcony/etc. Easily get to the City Center in 10min by foot. Good value.

At the top of the hill, it is very windy and the sound in the room is quite impressive! Not that much to do, but it is better to know it.

The facilities were excellent & clean.The staff couldn't do enough for you.Although the location is a bit difficult to find its worth the effort. Nicest people; father, son and coworkers. They are really interested, helping with your itinerary and are there for all your questions. Also the fireplace, multiple teapots and kittens Loki and Stormy were a big plus!

Akram and Prince where so helpful they ensured we had a fantastic stay. They arranged for a tuk tuk driver to take us to where we wanted to go and he was absolutely amazing! The waterfalls and the blue field tea factory are a must visit. The Piegons nest is a true gem, walking into town is enjoyable if you like walkkng but Akram did tell us of a shortcut. The food is delicious - must try the chicken Roti and rice! The room itself is lovely and spacious with hot water. Could not recommend Piegons nest more! If you want a unique experience in Nuwara Eliya itself go to Restaurant Guru it’s a Sri Lankan/Jamaican fusion the food is amazing and comes on a giant banana leaf!

Location is a bit out of the way ( although we really liked it cause it was very quiet)

The staff was very friendly, the boy working there did everything to make us feel comfortable. The room upstairs was very nice and cosy, with an amazing view. Feels like a house in the mountains with the fireplace on in the evening.
