Amazing location, lovely complex of balcony’s with a great pool area and facilities, really nice food and a a perfect place to spend a part of our honeymoon where we could relax and enjoy ourselves. Would definitely come back!

The location and the staff were excellent. We felt very welcome at the resort and nothing was too much trouble. Whether it was a special breakfast for our granddaughter or arranging transport to the local attractions. A la carte menu all day.

what is not to like!! Barbara and Amit have the perfect beach resort! They both are fully present and beautiful people that will make you smile and will make sure your stay is perfect!! The staff are amazing and friendly and make you feel like their family. The resort is the most beautiful I have seen...ocean front with an amazing pool and resort facilities. Don't pass up the chance to relax here! This is the Sri Lankan experience you have been looking for!

A wonderful and relaxing stay in front of the ocean. Immersed in a magnificent tropical garden, our private bungalow had a breathtaking view on the pool and on the ocean 🌊 The suite is very modern and spacious, has every comfort. The hosts are extremely warm and welcoming, always ready to help out!

You must know you are 15min away from Tangalle by Tuk Tuk if you want to go eat outside the hotel or just go enjoy the main beach. The beach at the hotel is very secluded and one cannot swim. Also the food at the hotel is quite expensive for just regular food. Best to go eat in town even if you have to pay the tuk tuk.

Beautiful property right on the beach. The pool is very pleasant. The view from the top bungalows, where we were, is magnificent, overlooking the vegetation and looking at the water. The staff is very pleasant. Breakfast is generous, served at the table.

We were so glad to have booked to stay here as it’s a really beautiful hotel and we were sad to leave! If you’re looking to stay somewhere luxurious as well as be away from the crowds then this is a wonderful place to stay. Breathtaking views of the sea from our bungalow and it was amazing to sit on the balcony and hear the waves. The beach and surrounding area are lovely and quiet yet walking distance (or a short tuk-tuk journey) to local restaurants. We also had a wander along the beach when it was dark to find hundreds of little crabs around which was interesting!

We loved our stay at Omia. It was such a relaxing experience, we spent a lot of time on our deck overlooking the ocean. The waves were a bit too strong to swim in the ocean during the time we visited (end of the season), but it was still very nice to walk along the long stretch of beach.The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner are very delicious! The WiFi is a bit weak in the rooms, but it might depend on the room you are in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We spent 3 blissful nights at Omia. If you're looking for the ultimate in relaxation, then look no further. Barbara, Sufi and the team made us feel incredibly welcome. This place is Paradise on earth, beautiful and quiet. And at the same time, there are a lot of opportunities to explore not far from the resort. Barabara and her team are lovely, they made us feel welcomed and at home from day one. They did beyond what could be expected to secure we had a lovely stay. WE ARE COMING BACK

Just everything, and that's no exaggeration. It was more than perfect. Beautiful bungalow with amazing view. Food was excellent and we ate there for our entire 11 nights. But of course the stars of the show were the staff. All of them. Barbara runs a happy team and they are fiercely loyal to her. Special mention to Luca. Fell in love with him and hope he feels better soon. Oh, should explain his tail always wagged when we saw him🥰. We've travelled to many, many places and this was our number 1. Thanks guys. Miss you all 😁 John & Allison 😍

Thought the menu was a little limited for choice but otherwise all good

Fantastic location on a deserted section of beach except for the local fishermen. Rooms are huge with everything that you may need, we stayed four nights which was just right, Barbara and her team are a well oiled machine they really know how to look after guests, big shout out to Mahesh, Sandun and Nuwanga. Breakfasts were great and varied I like to opt for the Sri Lankan breakfast every morning because its something you cant get at home!! Nice little restaurant called Nimhira just a short tuk tuk ride away, they will come and pick you up and drop you back for free

OMIA is the best and most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at just 8 beautiful bungalows right on a deserted beach the view from our room was unbelievable and the pool and grounds were amazing the staff and owner Barbara lovely and were always on hand to help and the food in the lovely little restaurant was excellent and a good price for the quantity the property is well maintained and it has a very relaxed atmosphere we will definitely come back to the OMIA thank you
