We extended our first stay and changed plans to return for a second visit. All food was excellent, including the free breakfast which varied day to day. The location was fantastic with three of the best beaches in Sri Lanka within walking distance. We absolutely loved it.

Great location, walkable distance from 2 beaches and close to restaurants. Comfortable room with AC and a mosquito net too. Very clean bathroom with hot shower. Nice outdoor seating area, perfect spot for the plentiful breakfast! Very friendly family! We also had dinner one evening which was delicious and very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend!!

One of the best homestays we had in Sri Lanka. Clean room, comfy bed with mosquito net, warm water, good wifi. Host family is very nice. Tasty breakfast and they also provide a dinners. And as a bonus it is only few minutes from the beach. Really recommended!

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights. The Breakfast was very delicious. Everything was clean and the Family is very helpful and friendly. The Nethmi Homestay is near by a beautiful beach and some nice restaurants.

One of our favourite places during our month in Sri Lanka. Run by the kindest family. Breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner there each night as it was so good and really affordable. The room was spacious, clean and walking distance to 2 of the best beaches. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect

An absolutely Gem in Tangalle, we were extremely happy to stay here we actually wanted to stay more days but they had booked the room so we couldn't, the place is all what you need for a relax vacation, very close to the beach around 6 minute walk, extremely clean, food was delicious and at a very reasonable price, the free breakfast it's absolutely fantastic (also they vary every day so you don't get bored) and the family who runs this place are just very kind.. I hope we can come back

We stayed 2 nights at Nethmi, at 250 m from Goyambokka beach (and maybe 500m from Silent beach) and 100 m from the Goyambokka junction with the main bus road. The room was clean and functional (with nice mosquito net and A/C + fan), breakfast was included and good and the family was very nice and helpful. We also had dinner one night (I ordered deviled fish before) and it was very good (not too devilled/hot) and at a very reasonable price (compared to restaurants in the area). My friend even had a kitchen in her room (with a boiler).

We absolutely loved everything about Nethmi homestay!!! It was the cleanest place we stayed in Sri Lanka, A/C and fan worked perfectly, location is great, 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Goyambokka beach and 15 minutes to Silent beach, few minutes to local store and bus stop where you can catch buses to the Tangalle centre or other cities. Breakfast was inculded in price and deliicious. We also had dinner every night there and it was so tasty! The wonderfull family is doing everything to make your stay memorable. We loved it so much that we prolonged our stay for 2 more nights... and than for one more night 🙂 Thank you for everything!!

Everything was amazing!:))) Place is beautiful, food (breakfasts and dinners that we have ordered were delicious!!!:) We have prolonged our stay and if we are ever coming back to Tangalle we will definitely come back to this place! :) House is really close both to the beach (maybe 5 min walk), to the shop at the corner, and to the bus station going to the city centre, really recommend it!:) Love your family! The family is so nice and they make the best food especially for supper. De not hesitate to order food from them they deliver directly on your personnal balcony it is delicious and not expensive fresh seafood. We even went to the market to buy fish with them. The rooms were also very clean.

The shower was a bit weak and didn’t get warm, but not too much of an issue as it’s so hot in Tangalle anyway!

Amazing location, only moments from the beautiful Silent Beach. The owners were a very sweet and kind family who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The bedroom was really comfortable with a large mosquito net and I really appreciated the little night lights which made the room feel cosy. There was also a mini fridge and kettle/tea bags etc in the room which was nice. I had a great sleep there and wish I could have stayed longer.
