The staff was so kind and helpful and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great AC. They also do so much for you at the property! They have delicious food, set up the perfect safari and give you snacks before and after. I absolutely loved my stay here and highly recommend!

We love this place: best accomodation so far in our Sri Lankan trip. The room is big and very clean, the location is perfectly mantained. We really appreciated the 360-degree service from the staff. They are polite and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with Priyankara, Mihiranga and the others. They even took a 9 hour go-and-come-back journey to come and pick us in Passikudah to take us to the resort, as there weren't other options for us to reach the place in reasonable hours. Moreover they took us to see the family of deers living nearby and organized a private tour to visit the lake, while explaining us the local wildlife. Of course they did organize the safari to yala national park, which was a good value for money because they took care of literally everything (breakfast, lunch, transportation, jeep and safari tickets) for a good price. Finally, they made us a lovely local dinner and knowing that after checkout we needed to go to Ella they checked for us the buses's timetables and dropped us to the bus station.

Excellent price-quality homestay! Big clean room, AC perfectly working. The staff is awesome, there’s not much restaurants nearby (if any) but that’s not a problem as you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in here for a really good price (and good food as well). We booked the Full Day Safari with them and it was perfect, guide knew what he was doing, and we always had enough food and water! 100% recommended!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Nehansa Resort! The staff went above and beyond from start to finish. We booked very last minute and the manager messaged straight away to organise pick up from the bus stop we were being dropped off at (this was free!). We were also helped when it came to figuring out how to get to our next spot - the manager dropped us off at the bus stop and also waited with us till the bus came to make sure we got on ok. We were greeted on arrival with fresh coconuts (very much needed after our 4hr bus journey from Galle) and were then taken on a mini safari around the nearby lake which again was included in the price. We booked our safari at Yala National Park through the hotel also - this trip was absolutely incredible! Our driver Amila did such an amazing job at spotting the different wildlife and we could not have asked for a better driver/guide. We enjoyed our stay and safari so much that we extended our stay and booked on the safari again for the following day (this ended up being even better than the first day with us spotting 3 different leopards). The room we stayed in was lovely and super clean. It also had A/C which was very much needed after the safari. We ate here every night and the food was great - the portions were big so we never went hungry! The breakfast that was included on the safari was also plentiful and tasty. Shout out to the 2 guys on the front desk (apologies as we didn't catch your names) - they were both fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Nehansa Resort and Safari is hands down the best value for money hotel we've ever stayed in!

Perfect room with bathroom that was very clean, great mosquito net and very comfy bed Very friendly staff, took us on a free wildlife spotting tour of the lake on day of arrival and the free breakfast was huge The staff also arranged free pickup and drop off to bus station and also took me to the local restaurant for free Booked safari through the property and it was a great safari with very friendly guide Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Yala

Our group of 3 stayed here for one night, the night before our safari to Yala. We absolutely loved this hotel, it really was an amazingly comfortable stay. From the moment we got there we were greeted with incredible hospitality. All the staff really went out of their way to look after us, making sure we were always comfortable. The room itself was great for us too, spacious, clean and cool. We also organised the safari through this hotel and it was super easy. They gave us a big box of food and water too which was really appreciated. Really great hotel, keep up the good work! Our favourite hotel so far in Sri Lanka!!

The property was super clean and gorgeous! We were greeted with coconut waters and made to feel at home instantly. We were able to order food on arrival after a long sweaty ride there, and were taken to feed the deer and see local birds and bats in the evening for free! Great stay.

Very friendly staff! They were extremely helpful and fixed everything for us. They will set up the safari for you, with everything included, even breakfast and morning coffee at 4:30 am. The stay includes a mini safari around the local lake for free, highly recommended. The rice and curry at the hotel was good! Everything was just perfect! The rooms very clean and good space.

The staff went above and beyond themselves to make us feel welcome. We received a chilled coconut juice when we checked-in and they also took us on a free bird watching tour in the afternoon. When you need to go anywhere, they‘ll also help you out by getting a tuktuk or even driving you yourself. The breakfast was exceptional. The safari we had booked via the hotel was also great. We got a small breakfast despite the early pickup time and a knowledgable guide who tried his best to make our experience memorable.

The smell of their cleaning products was quite strong which was fine for my husband but I'm a bit sensitive to smells so it made my nose stuffy.

The service was great. They let us feed some local deer which was awesome!

Comfortable rooms, helpful staff, great safari. Our safari guide was an expert at spotting animals and birds. The room was clean and the surroundings are very green making you feel like you're living in a jungle.

Informative and helpful. Lovely garden and quiet location. They aranged safari to Bundala, which was beautiful. Evening drive around the lake also very good. They also picked us up and dropped us at the bus stop.

The manager took us on a bird and bat watching excursion in the evening which was lovely. There was also wild deer who are comfortable around humans and we fed them. Take away breakfast was prepared for us to take on safari. There are some food options available onsite. The stay was very peaceful and comfortable. The staff are extremely accommodating. Our safari driver Tharanga was very knowledgeable and we found the safari really enjoyable.

Incredible stay, very attentive staff! They took me on free Bird Tours and to a spot where you can watch Crocodiles and even droped me to the bus stop in the next town. They really watch out for the guest and want to make their stay as best as it can be! Breakfast is huge, various and sooo yummy!

Lovely peaceful place and the room was clean and comfortable. They arranged a safari (in-house) & we had a fabulous driver/spotter. Breakfast is included & you can order other meals there too - which are all good. They provide daily water, a trip to the lakes to do some bird, croc & bat spotting & they have deer out the back that come when they're called! Their main focus is keeping the customer happy & it's evident in everything they do. The staff are amazing- they really want you to have a good time. Thanks especially to Mihirange, Priya & Shamika who made my stay wonderful!

I can only recoment Nehansa Resort!.. is such a beautiful place.. everyone is super friendly and very helpfull! I was even taken to the bus stop on my last day and stayed with me until i was on my way to my next destination.. thank you soooo much!! I booked a Safari with them too and was very well organiced.. room has everything u need.. and the beds are very confortable.. and the food is delicious and fresh!!! Eat there!!! I can only say thank you for everything and am sure to be back someday😊
