The location was very quiet and the grounds extensive. The beach was very good with very few people on it, apart from at evening time when the turtles swimming very close to the shore attracted a number of people. The pool was sufficiently large to allow swimming and the restaurant served good food, particularly for breakfast. All in all, the hotel offers very good value

Tried to order breakfast to the room few times with no luck. Staff is friendly but sometimes seems to forgot what they were going to do) Wifi is poor but you shouldn't be looking for good internet in this region) Some excursion offers are overpriced (this is very subjective opinion but market has better offers - just need to search)

High celling and AC makes it breath comfortable even when it's hot outside. Room and bathroom are big Very comfortable bad. Few restaurants nearby on the beach. Beach was clean but you may have trouble swimming in ocean due to high waves. Kayaks are great option to spend time. Good value for money.

Some construction work going on whilst we were staying there, but it only caused disruption in the day.

We had a superb one night stay at lagoon paradise. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were really nice. The pool is a good size and there are good facilities. There was also a shop nearby and the beach location is great. The restaurant on the beach also serves some really good food.

Unfortunately there was no Mosquito net in the room, I got a lot of mosquito bites. We got charged for breakfast ones, all tough it was included, which we only realised after we left. Wifi was not good, but that’s because of the area and not the Hotel’s fault. They tried everything to make it better.

We absolutely loved the Swimming Pool and the beach is really clean, perfect for beach walks. (Waves are little aggressive but there are designated swimming areas) Amazing staff, they will try the best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We got offered a free upgrade to the Cabanas. The breakfast was amazing. Well maintained and huge property. Maintenance staff also did a great job. Special thank you to Imantha, Prassana, Dylan and Nishant for making our stay great, as well as the manager, very friendly and humble.

Its a bit far from the city, if you would like to go there. No wifi in the room, but good connection in lobby and restaurant.

The only thing I have to say is that even though their hotel was nearly empty and they had spare rooms just un front of the pool and lake, they gave us a room that was outside of the hotel and next to the cleaning room, which seemed to be where the service normally sleeps. The room was also a little bit dirty like if they had only done a superficial cleaning. Also, one of the staff was also approaching us and asking my boyfriend to gave them a good review, as if I didn’t exist and when my boyfriend told him I was the one doing the reviews he laughed as if a woman couldn’t be “in charge” of the organisation. Anyway I don’t think the hotel should be blamed for only one and I would recommend it, specially if you call first and ask for one of the nice rooms in front of the pool.

This hotel is breathtaking, a beautiful resort with an enormous pool, and an amazing restaurant with amazing food just in front of the beach. It also offers a lot of diferent activities like kayaking through a very authentic lake that’s sorrounded by nature and beautiful trees. The service was pretty nice too.

Not so much breakfast options if you’re vegan or vegetarian but they will make you anything if they can.

The hotel was beautiful but what made the stay amazing was the staff. Especially aminda and precinda! The staff at the restaurant were also amazing, Adam or Peter were the best.

Beautiful property, great staff, delicious food at the Big Crocodile restaurant. You can also explore the lagoon in a kayak. I had a specious room with a big balcony overlooking the sea. It was super relaxing.

WiFi: should really be available in the rooms. but on the other hand - less internet, less worries.

the place is incredibly peaceful, tucked away from it all, with large balconies overlooking lush greenery and a pervading tranquility. There is a long and almost empty beach where you cannot swim but can stargaze, barhop, and watch the turtles lay eggs in the night. Before the sea shore, you cross the lagoon that has a fascinating life of its own. NB room 53 has not one balcony but two.

Far away from highway & roads weren’t good. May be another way will be there but the common google map road wasn’t good

Booked lagoon paradise as an stop over stay while traveling between 2 parts of Sri Lanka. It was about 20 minutes drive from highway & we were confused will it be a good hotel, once we arrived things changed. 5 acre property with amazing set up, good staffs, calm environment, amazing beach restaurant & sea food. Highly recommended & we will visit again
