Reaching the hotel in the narrow streets on the hill might not be very easy, especially during the night.

Hotel See Kandy had great views of the city. It is up quite a steep hill however that was no issue for TukTuks. Staff were very friendly and helped us organize a TukTuk to the train station. They offered breakfast but we did not take them up on the offer although it looked great! The pool is a little hidden away and we didn't use it. If you want a very quiet location with great views of the city, I would recommend this hotel.

It is on the hill so going around specially at night is little challenge. Breakfast has limited and repeated options only.

Very calm and peaceful stay just located at kandy lake view. Able to see beautiful sunrise. Manager of property is very helpful, arranged tour service for us. Caretaker is very helpful though they were facing language problem and not able to understand request easily. Srilankan food prepared by them was very good.

Attention to detail missing i.e dirty bath mat. Marks on walls/mirrors. Some furniture needs attention i.e mirror. Could do with a lick of paint

Some parts of the room were a bit old and could do with some updating but nothing that really effected our stay. It can be a bit tricky to find as you have to turn up a fork in the road but both roads at the fork have the same name so most drivers miss the turn. Keep your maps on if you can to direct the driver when arriving or ask them to call the hotel for directions.

Huge, spacious room with a great view of Kandy. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, especially the man who checked us in (sorry we didn't get your name!) who helped us organise some laundry and had it back to us that evening, and also helped give directions to our driver for us. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very attentive. We only stayed one night but wished we were staying longer. Such great value for what you get!

Good location.It was a short walk into town/ lake and temple and a cheap tuk tuk ride home. Lalith was a super host. He gave me lots of tips of what to do and was great company.
