The balcony door was quite hard to open and no chairs on the balcony.

Very clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom with hot shower. A short walk to town, although up a hill. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room cleaning staff was a bit of a disappointment on the first day as an old bed sheet was laid on one of the rooms we occupied. However, the problem was quickly rectified with clean sheets by the helpful manager.

The staff were friendly. The manager was great and the restaurant staff were so helpful and kind. The food was also very good. Good selection of Sri lankan and Western menu for breakfast and dinner. The location is amazing with wonderful views of Kandy Lake.

- it's not far from center of Kandy but to get to the hotel there is a streep road without enough lights - No lift access

- The bedroom was nice and comfortable - The bathroom, had enough space and the shower had hot water - Wifi working well

The location was excellent, fantastic views over Kandy lake. The rooms were well appointed and finished well. We had two rooms, one with a large balcony at the front which was lovely and a smaller room at the back of the property. This one was my favourite! It had beautiful plaster work on the walls, a real surprise.

We gave them our key to clean the room but they didn’t they just put some new nescafe sachets and that’s it

The view of Kandy lake is the best thing in the hotel but it’s up hill and very steep. Also the room was spacious and the staff was helpful as much as they could.

- The double-size bed was actually 2 single mattresses, so in the middle it's uncomfortable to sleep on. - The receptionist wasn't much helpful as in guiding us what to see in Kandy city

- The hotel's position was good, 5min walk from the lake, 10min from the centre's mall. But the road is very sloped and not ideal for tuktuks to climb up. - The hotel was clean - Nice panoramic view from balconies and restaurant

The road to the hotel was confusing and google maps rerouted twice.

They only have 1 room with the full lake side view of the kandy, which was amazing to have for ourself

The hotel itself is not noisy but Sri Lanka is a noisy place. If you are sensitive to noise, this is a good place to stay as it's away from the main streets. But wildlife and road noise can be heard so bring a sound machine or ear plugs. I would give this advice for every hotel in Sri Lanka!

Beautiful view from the hotel overlooking the lake. Comfortable beds. A few minutes walk from the centre of town but in quiet location.

Strange odor in the bathroom. Possibly a drainage issue.

Good location, on the top of the hill, over looking the lake and the entire city. Nice view. Big bedroom, big double beds were provided. Banana plants right outside. Chef, wait staff and hosts were nice. Food was good. Walkable distance to the temple although there is a climb.

Cleanliness can be improved, noticed cobwebs in the shower area.

The service and staff are exceptionally good and welcoming - especially Mr. Insar Mohothar. They served authentic sri lankan food in buffet. I did not book the lake view room which I regret, but the stay was pretty comfortable. In case you are are planning to stay here go for the lake view it promises a magnificent view of lake view and Tooth temple.

The school nearby started up band practice at 5am every day and woke me each morning. Pretty annoying, even if not the hotel’s fault. Wasn’t particularly inspired to eat in the restaurant, but it might have been okay. Annoyed me on checkout that I had to explain, wrangle and argue over paying the dry cleaning bill on card (as agreed a day previous) as part of the overall tab - which was processed on card.

From our room on the first floor we didn't have much of a view, even though we had a balcony/terrace for which we were charged extra. The lunch we had ordered was very very average.

The view from the property was very good. The double room was small but sufficient. The staff was very nice and welcoming. One of them even helped us out personally when we didn't find a taxi.

Views from balcony are unbeatable. It has a nice decoration and its clean. Staff was helpful. Walk uphill from city center wasnt a problem at all for us. Water kettle available in the room.

My evening meal wasn’t great, I asked for egg Koffu and had to send it back twice as was undercooked and too salty. The chef was accommodating however and remade it for me. Although the final version still was a bit undercooked. The Sri Lanka breakfast was really good though.
