Lovely, clean, large room with access to rooftop kitchen and balcony for morning coffee, looking out at the beach. Just across the street from turtle beach and Coconut Tree Hill and a bit of a walk to the beautiful and busy Marissa Beach. Hostess was lovely and kind.

The mattress was a bit bobbly and could be felt through the sheets but we put one of the blankets under the sheet and then it was perfect. Breakfast omelette was a bit repetitive. it was a good 10 minute walk over the road and along beach into main town or a bit further if using the road. On the plus side it also felt fairly peaceful as a result of its location.

Nice clean room, good linen and towels and room cleaned every day.

Great hotel. Close to the central Unawatuna beach (100 м cross the road ), also 10 minutes walk to Delawelle and Turtle Beach. Nearby there is a fruit market, a liquor store, and a delicious restaurant at the hotel at the good prices. VERY quiet, night birds singing, excellent rooms' sound insulation. The room is cleaned every day. The water pressure is good. The manager Mr Ragj is very responsive and smart, the hotel & cafe guys and staff are also very friendly, it was a pity to part with them all.. Will definitely come back if we visit again. Great location, just over the road from the beach. Room was basic but very clean and had everything you would need, a/c worked very well. All the TV channels were an added bonus. Restaurant in house was excellent for times we did not want to go out. Staff really looked after us.

The hotel is a perfect accommodation for a long stay in Unawatuna. The beach is just across the road, next to the hotel you can find lots of shops and restaurants. The staff is absolutely kind and supportive, during our stay we feel completely like at home. The rooms are clean and cozy with the air conditioning, TV, mini-fridge and kettle. The cleaning is provided everyday with the new towels and bath stuff. You can also order meals in the restaurant including the fresh seafood for dinner. Our room was with the terrace to where we could also order the meals. I am completely excited about our stay in Happy Night and want to thank all the staff for the unique atmosphere that made our holiday unforgettable. Wait to come back soon!

Wi-Fi on and off . Need little maintenance.

The 150 various TV channels....I stayed in other city 3* hotels not even single hotel gave this facility. Little fridge very convenient to store . Ac working perfect.

The room was comfortable with all reasonable facilities. Not over-large, but with a comfortable corridor/terrace outside to us.

There was an all night beach party across the road and the party goers came back to the motel. If partying isn't for you, perhaps don't pick this motel on the weekends.

Rooms were lovely and there is a nice balcony. Breakfast served on the balcony was lovely. There is a restaurant, but we didn't eat there. There are a few eating places within walking distance and the beach is right across the road.

Room was small despite listing saying it was bigger than normal for Unawatuna. I was solo traveller so fine. Might be a bit cramped for a couple with luggage etc.

1st floor room overlooked a courtyard with nice plantings and very close to the beach. Room had good aircon and fan, also had a fridge.

Nothing wrong with the place, I just wasn't a fan of Unawatuna.

just 2 minutes from the beach. we drove 3 minutes to the turtle beach. Breakfast was amazing. We could choose between regional sri lankan and continental breakfast (in advance we asked)

Amazing place, very clean and beautiful. Rooms are well equipped, it is a high standard for the price. The restaurant serves excellent food, everybody who is working is so kind and helpful. For example, the owner even drove me to the bank in the city when the nearby ATM swallowed my card and tried to help as much as he could. Very close to the nice beach, shop, fruit stand and other restaurants. Warm regards to the owner and all the employees and thanks for such a great stay :)

The rooms are clean and cool with the working AC. Free water is provided and the amenities are everything you would need shower, fridge, mosquito net, kettle etc. There was a power cut due to Sri lankan government, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had light and was okay. I've been here twice now and always enjoy staying here

Great location, just at the start of the beach, so you can save on taking tuk tuks. Very nice ceiling height, so you don’t feel boxed in your room. Fridge and AC worked great. very good Wi-Fi by Asian metrics
