The whole family is very welcoming.Everything was great.Gayan took us on a safari tour udawalawe,It was really nice,enjoy a lot.He is very knowledgeable guide.The binoculars were a bonus. We had lunch and dinner during the 2 days of our stay.The meals prepared by his mother are delicious.Great moments and memories,highly recommended this homestay!!!

Gayan was the kindest host and very friendly.he arranged good udawalawe safari tour its a fair price. See the 2 leopards and lot of elephants,crocodile . He arrange taxy after safari go to ella for reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious . Dinner rice and curry very testy.thank you and i highly recommend

Reception and welcome were exceptional. The manager Angela is an excellent professional always willing to attend to any customer problems. The breakfasts are plentiful, varied and with fresh products. They manage the safaris directly, which is very convenient. The cleaning service is good and efficient. The pool is very good with exceptional river side.

A location was a bit far but that didn’t bother us.

Accommodation was really great. Rooms were in separated cottages which was nice. Pool was nice and so was the staff. Outdoor washroom was also pretty cool. We went to safari which was organized by the host.

We stayed one night prior to safari next morning so worked perfect for us, food, beets, breakfast, bed, all perfect! The manager and reception area were lovely to deal with, helped with any questions we had. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, such good value for money, thank you so much!!

The room was clean. It had all the amenities as expected for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly. Breakfast and Dinner were tasty. Quantities of food served was also good. Water pressure in the washroom was superb.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had booked a safari through them and arranged to have breakfast at the safari park. This is truly a little paradise.

It's a beautiful location and the staff were very attentive. They organised a tour for Udawalawe, and our tour guide was exceptional. He stopped to show us small things when other jeeps zipped by, like a gecko and some beautiful rare birds. The meal in the evening was delicious. We had kottu and devilled chicken between us. On arrival, we had a little daylight left, and the owner organised a tuk tuk to take us to a local temple where there were very few tourists, which we really appreciated.

Safari was managed by the host & provided us very experienced driver & except sloath bear ,we saw all animals including leopard. Could see Hugh bunches of spotted deers, elephants & peacocks. Would surely recommend this place for convenient Safari & delicious food. The place has nice natural surroundings views,too.

It's was greeted upon arrival by the kind and professional staff. The location felt like the middle of nature, yet still close to Udawalawe. The room and bathroom was stunning, with all facilities there. I did a morning safari arranged by the hotel, would definitely recommend!
