The doors to the balcony and the closet were difficult to close and open. On the second day, a half-dead cockroach was found in the bathroom.

Their food selection was mediocre and service was just ok. For instance for the amount of money and it being a country with a lot of fresh fruits, I didn’t see a point service canned fruits or having only 3 selections of fruits to choose from.

The location is incredible. It has this old British style and the grounds were well kept. Definitely an older hotel that has been renovated to modern upkeep. Loved the amenities.

I had reserved six rooms for a four-night stay and timely intimated for an early check-in at the hotel, aligning with our flight itinerary. Despite this, upon arrival, we were not accommodated with the early check-in, resulting in a prolonged wait of seven hours in the lobby. Considering that my colleagues and I had endured a journey exceeding 18 hours, this delay significantly compounded the discomfort of our travel experience. Experiencing a delay in check-in after a long flight was indeed exhausting and frustrating.

The breakfast was good mix of local as well as continental cuisines. Really liked fresh fruits and availability of 'Halal' food items on the menu.

Maybe a cultural thing, but the staff is overactive and always very close, which gives us the feeling we are watched every moment (no privacy). We dropped a spoon and within 2 seconds a waiter was there to pick it up.

The theme of the hotel is great, the whole way the hotel is built with a skybridge between the buildings is great. The pool is great and clean. Waterfalls, small fishponds and other small details really give a nice impression.

Room is good size, but the washroom is very clean for having the 5 star rating.

We arrived on a Saturday where the dinner buffet was offering a bigger selection of food and set the bar higher, which was not matched on the following nights. Dinner was available starting at 7 p.m., we arrived directly at 7 where we spotted some nice chocolate cream for desert which we eyeballed at. When we came to desert at around 7.45 pm the desert was already gone and they told us there where no refill comming, which for a 5* hotel I'm expecting the offered food remains longer than 45 minutes. The shower was not able to keep its temperature and was changing from lukewarm to nearly boiling hot. Also something I'm expecting different from such an establishment.

The rooms were 5 star worthy with a beautiful view, size was really nice and the staff had been super friendly and nice. The breakfast buffet was good with a big selection. For dinner there was live music. The dinner buffet on a Saturday was offering a wider selection of food.

Fabulous junior suite ... Best wd have ever stayed in ... even jncluded a bar area. Super comfy extra king size bed and 2 bathrooms.

Buffet served for breakfast and dinner is not worth and up to the what we paid for . Simple local cheap items .no much variety. On 19th brak fast was served with rotten papaya . I informed to the stewards and chef ...but no response.

1) No Egg holder for Eggs (breakfest). 2) Butter was to hard. Not creamy. 3) No yellow part in the Eggs. Very light yellowish.

We asked for drinking water once the complementary bottles finished as there was a toddler and our parents are a bit elderly. They didn’t bring the water for so long . Then my mom called room service and advised we need to buy 6 big water bottles and those arrived really quickly. Thta was poor service

Dalip's welcome, room check-in, view and comfort of the room. The restaurant manager was a very smiling one and the breakfast was a sumptuous and tasty spread.
