The staff is great, extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner is very good and of high quality. Absolutely good value for money. The grounds are beautiful with a large variety of tropical trees and other plants and a lovely swimming pool for use at any time of day or night.We loved our stay here, best part of our Sri Lankan trip and would highly recommend staying here.The bast place we’ve been to in Sri Lanka.

We stayed in a luxury tree house. The whole area of the hotel is stunning. If you love architecture you love this hotel. Every detail is designed. Wonderful really long pool. Very clear water. The stuff of the hotel is very very friendly. Greetings to Humare. We didn’t see you to say goodbye. The treehouse is extremely nice. We loved to sit on our terrace and had a view to the sea. Breakfast is very nice and every day you have a variety of really nice food. In the night they make a fire on the beach. This was the best stay we had for a long time. Thank you 🙏

Really nothing!

We felt like we were in paradise.... Embedded in nature, designed with great attention to detail, cared for and cherished on a dreamlike quiet beach. Simply wonderful and then there's this super cool and caring team. The food is also delicious, the breakfast is plentiful and healthy, we wanted for nothing.... Really the best place on our round trip in Sri Lanka. We would come back anytime!

It was a dream. It all fit! The area and the rooms is extra class. The tree houses are a dream and it was an adventure to spend the night there. The staff is great, extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner is very good and of high quality. Absolutely good value for money. That was a perfect conclusion to our vacation.

The rosort was magical! It was by far our favorite hotel from sri lanka. Everything you need is there, there are no other tourist on the beach so you can enjoy the peace. The staff is the greatest team you could wish for. The food they offered us was very good and you could eat it on the beach. Both the breakfast and dinner were very extensive. The staff worked so hard to keep everything clean and nothing is too much to ask. The swimming pool was our favorite part of the resort, always clean and so big. We would love to come back one day!

I like everything about the property the eco vibe using all raw materials but it’s still feeling such a luxury place. It was gorgeous. I stayed in the sea front tree house. You could hear the ocean as you slept the rooms were spacious and clean and I loved the decor. The hotel has a lovely big pool and it was located right on the seafront. The aesthetics were beautiful! X

As the treehouse is open air, expect to have wildlife in the room. We had a small mouse one night but it did not bother us. Also, the service charge goes directly to the hotel and not the staff so make sure to give them something extra for all their help.

Had an amazing start to our trip here, fantastic and friendly staff who made our stay such a joy. Upon arrival we were upgraded for free to a treehouse with direct views of the beach. Food was delicious and great drink selection. If we return to Sri Lanka we will definitely be back here.

Since it was raining overnight and the roofs of the tree houses are made of wood and fortified dried leaves or something similar, we had some leakage over the bed a few times.

Gorgeous resort with an amazing saltwater pool and stunning beach view! The staff was professional, helpful and kind. The food from their restaurant was excellent! The tree houses look and feel exotic, and we had a free upgrade to a tree house with a terrace overlooking the ocean. Definitely would choose to stay there again.

The Cinnabar resort is built entirely with sustainable materials, using a non-contemporary approach to construction. Their environmental design aims to create an experience as close to nature as possible. Additionally, they have the cutest staff members - three puppies!

There was only 1 sun umbrella working on the beach, therefore only 2 sun beds were able to be used. More umbrellas so all sun beds can be utilised

We stayed in the sky high treehouse…. Magical up so high…. Also lovely to have a swimming pool as the sea is too rough for swimming directly in front of the resort. Fabulous breakfasts!

The restaurant is not good... First time a place succeed to disgust me of fish (not cleaned up properly and eyes and face skin falling down in your plate, yuk) + Very expensive and they don't adjust the bill when something was really not ok I suggest you eat somewhere else :) Even if that's a shame because this place feels like you don't want to leave at all

This place is Amazing! a little paradise, you feel alone on earth. Like Robinson Crusoe Beautiful tree house, exterior bathroom, amazing pool The staff is also super nice I got upgraded to a luxury tree house because the room I booked was not available when I arrive... at first I was really upset but they manage it really well For sure a hotel to experience once in your life! (Careful if you're afraid of bugs, the tree cabins are not totally closed for air to go through and it was kind of an insect party in the room - but that's the deal when you want to experience this Cast Away vibe)
