Everything was great. Hosts are very friendly and pleasant family. They were ready to help with any request. Besides they prepare a very delicious food. The dishes in the restaurant at the guesthouse were amazing.

Inside the room it was very warm (warmer than outside). Even in the evening it didn’t cool down. There was no air in the room and only the ventilator could give us a little bit of cool wind.

Breakfast was delicious, plenty of fruit every morning. The water pressure of the shower was great.

One of the nicest guesthouse I stayed at during my trip! I kept extending my stay and I could have stay even longer! The room is absolutely spotless, very clean, spacious and modern. It's super well equiped. It has a very nice balcony with chairs to relax in. Bed is super big and super comfy. The bathroom is big and spotless too. Super nice and hot shower. Wifi works really well. Beach is a few minutes away walking distance and Silent beach, which is amazing too is walking distance from the guesthouse too. Breakfast is great. The guesthouse also has a restaurant, I had most of my meals there and the food is so good and very cheap. The family who runs the guesthouse is adorable, and very nice, always happy to help you. I just loved my stay and I highly recommend Deshan Homestay

I have to say that the wifi is not always the best… sometimes very slow… BUT tell them when it happens and they can fix it :) so no problem. you just have to be patient sometimes.

Everything. Honestly. - Room is spacious, super clean and well equipped (wardrobe, soap, towels, broom, bin, toilet paper,…). Balcony is nice and big. - Breakfast (and all their menu) is delicious. You can choose between many options. Quantity is huge, quality amazing. As I stayed nearly 2 weeks, they often offered me to try some local food or sweets. - Location is in a quiet and beautiful street, 3min walk from the beach. - The family is fantastic… all of them kind, caring, thoughtful, smiling, joyful, generous… I had a sea urchin spike in my foot and they have tried everything to remove it themselves and as it didn’t work they drove me to the hospital, waited there with me… Even if the place was bad I would recommend to go there just to meet those amazing people. But this place is also one of the best I stayed in in Sri Lanka !!! …. go go go!

We stayed for two nights in Tangalle and enjoyed it. Room has everything you need including AC and balcony. It's just a short walk to the beach and few minutes of drive to the centre. Our host greeted us with freshly made juice. We also had dinner and lunch at his restaurant and it was fabulous!

We had a wonderful time at Deshan’s. Location is great, quiet and 5 min walk to the beach, food is delicious and plentiful and everybody is super friendly and helpful. Room is very cosy and clean with great balcony for chilling. Bathroom is roomy and modern. We highly recommend this place.

It was very clean place. Near to the beach. Really good Breakfasts. The Chef was verry tallented. We also ate dinners there. Seafood was so tasty you have to try it! Fair prices. You can do laundry here. (200 RS per 1 kg). The owner is very nice he even upgraded our Room for the same price. Mosquito net is here.

Very pleasant hosts. Nice welcome drinks, really tasty rice and curry for dinner! One of the best we had in Sri Lanka! Laundry service available. Room was clean and comfy, altough quite small. AC working well. One of few places in Sri Lanka that had a wardrobe. :-) Nice sitting area outside of the room. Very good location - just 5 minutes walk to lovely Goyamboka beach. A lot of dining possibilities around. Bus stop right on the crossing with main road.

such nice family food is amazing small beach 2 min walk away which is my favourite beach so far 100% recommended
