The only thing that could have been better is the water in the washroom. We are from Sri Lanka and Asians need more water to take bath. It's kind of less water.

Away from the city buzz, Athyantha is like a hidden treasure where you can be comfy and close to nature. It's surrounded by lovely paddy fields that turn into a magical scene when the moon is full. Mornings are special here with beautiful views and the sound of birds flying above the fields. The warm breeze and greenery make it a peaceful spot, perfect for people who love nature. The rooms are not just comfy; they're made so you can see the amazing views around. The staff is friendly and takes care of everything to make sure you have a great stay. Athyantha is not just a place to stay; it's like going into nature's beauty. If you want a quiet place and love being close to nature, you should check out this resort. My time here was really nice, and I'm looking forward to coming back to this peaceful place.

Property is situated in a peaceful setting. We really enjoyed our stay and it was well worth the price we paid. Rooms are clean and spacious overlooking paddy fields. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

The wifi could have been better. The hotel is a bit off but easy to visit Anuradhapura or Mihintale by tuk tuk, and staff gladly helps to arrange one.

There were few mosquitoes in the room during daytime but they have provided mosquito vaporizer as well. But at night there were no mosquitoes in the room.

The variety of food needs further improvements along with stable wifi connectivity.

We visited Athyantha Resort when we were on a pilgrimage to Anuradhapura and this is located in a nice quiet place next to a large paddy field. The location is ideal for relaxing and the view of the paddy field is eye-pleasing. The rooms are clean and tidy. The resort does not have a pool but they are planning to build one in the near future. The staff is friendly and very supportive. I wish they have more variety in food and also some improvements in wifi connectivity. This is a highly recommended budget-friendly resort in Anuradhapura and we are looking forward to visiting this resort in the future.

Nice little quiet place, away from the city. Spacious and comfy rooms. Totally worth the money spent. Staff was extremely helpful. Specially Manjula. Food was great as well (only vegetarian options available)

Lots of things.

I was quite disappointed with the dinner and breakfast at Athyantha Resort. There was minimal (only two items- for dinner, normal kottu and rice with boiled egg with soup (there is no supplementary food for use kottu and rice)and breakfast for milk rice and string hoppers), and only dhal curry and Cocunt sambol were very limited. The quality of the food was mediocre at best, with those dishes tasting bland and unappetizing. The staff seemed indifferent and were not very helpful. Additionally, the dining area was quite messy, with tables not being cleared promptly. Considering the additional cost, it did not offer good value for money. The location is good.

We had an unpleasant stay at the Athyanthaya hotel in Anuradhapura, which did not meet our expectations. The breakfast was below par, and flies were swarming everywhere. The rooms were unclean and lacked essential amenities such as a properly functioning refrigerator and electric kettle. The bathroom was in unhygienic condition, and to add to the misery, the hand bider was not working correctly. We were even startled to find a frog in the commode! Unfortunately, our entire trip to Anuradhapura was ruined due to this unsatisfactory experience.
