Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe safe in the room was just a metal box with no lock. Only had Aircon in the bedroom so the rest of the room was quite warm during the day.
The rooms were fantastic and spacious, with good self catering facilities if you didn't fancy eating out. Comfy large beds and plenty of storage. The bar next door had delicious food and cocktails which were very reasonably priced and the view over to the bay was beautiful from the balcony.

United KingdomThe air condition in the room was on the opposite wall of the bed and the cold air blows right into your face :-( not great. The shower needs an upgrade. Water was dropping from the shower, I raised it with the front desk, they sent someone straight away, but the next day it was dripping again. A little complicated / taking very long to check out and I was surprised I had to pay all these extra fees/charges which I was not aware of when booking the room. A bit annoying.
Great location, walking distance to the beach and to shops and restaurants. Quiet, nice garden with beautiful plants and flowers, liked the view from my balcony, large room. The restaurant in the hotel was ok, great service, but I like more healthy food and the food did cater more for American and British tourists, so not so healthy. Staff - especially in the hotel restaurant - were nice and helpful. The other restaurant which was behind to the restaurant was a fine dining restaurant and was fantastic and prices were value for money. Unfortunately I went there only on my last night, wish I had tried it earlier. Bed was very comfy. Hotel had a bit of a family feel which was nice compared to the anonymous hotel chains. The beach (Reduit Beach) was about 10 min walk away and was very nice and clean. Only disturbing thing were the beach sellers that are really on your case if you don't tell them clearly to stay away.

United StatesPlumbing issues are the main complaint. The toilet would fully flush 1 out of 6 tries on average. Very frustrating, especially given their room notes detailing a water shortage and touting their conservation efforts. The shower drain was very slow to clear. The smoke detector was beeping upon arrival to the room and the solution was to remove the battery The blind at the kitchen sink (view) was known to be broken/inoperable and the staff solution was to keep it closed or remove it entirely (which we did but were then on display to the 2 dive boats that docked outside our window). The toilet was in a small, hot room in a very awkward location in the apartment. No door handle on our room door, just a deadbolt It's not that I didn't like the giant jacuzzi next to the bed... it was just weird :) That space could be used to house a much more comfortable toilet room.
Friendly staff on the property and good value a la carte food at the bar/restaurant. RO drinking water provided at the bar to take back to your room. Great rain shower. Extremely spacious apartment with a deck facing the marina. Powerful A/C Refreshing pool. Great location - walk 2 blocks to the beach one direction and 2 blocks to town/restaurants/grocer the other direction Dive company on site.

This is a lovely hotel right on Gros islet waterfront close to Rodney Bay and Reduit beach. Our suite was a luxury waterfront on the edge of Gros Islet with indoor jacuzzi, patio with sunbeds and kitchenette. The hotel has a nice small pool. There is also a reasonably priced restaurant, the cockpit bar. Recommended

United StatesI asked for an accessible room because my husband was handicapped-can't climb too many stairs, but would have for the time we were there. However, I was happy to hear that I was getting an "upgrade" but I think I received the worst room for a handicapped person. A room that looked like it was under construction-half-broken door lock, TV sitting on furniture and not mounted on the wall so that a person can see properly from the bed-the bed post partially blocked the view, half painted walls and bathroom that was so far for my husband to walk he could barely make it there in time and he had to climb down off the platform to get to the floor and bathroom door that would not stay open. I saw nicer apartments with the same 2 steps to climb (like 114) but was not offered one and not given a choice either. Shame on Harmony for not providing rooms with accessible bathrooms like they do in the US-which is mandatory. The best thing about the room was the patio with the waterfront view, though people came and sat right in front of our suite on the deck and we had to leave and return at a later time. Also, the driveway was very much in need of a do-over.
I liked the waterfront view and proximity to activities on the island. The landscaping throughout the property was excellent. The Pub on the premises was OK-very pricey for the amount of food received. The staff was good and they did try their best not to keep people waiting very long. The Front Desk was helpful

ItalyNot a big deal - dive compressor near N side rooms is a bit noisy. Student groups can fill bar dining area at breakfast & early evening - so check & save a table!
Small boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff in a quiet corner of Rodney Bay, lovely well maintained gardens that face onto marina. Very nice dippy pool area shaded by plants, comfy loungers & was always a relaxing place 👍. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, with separate lounge area, perfectly clean, great housekeeping, ask for upper floor on S side of pool 😉. Handy mini kitchen area & fridge, Aircon is quiet & efficient, balcony good size & comfy. Wi-Fi good. Great on-site dive centre 👌! 5min stroll to S corner of Reduit Bay - safer swimming, reasonable 🤿 - 2 turtles, 🐟 🐠 a few corals. Jacques restaurant on site is best in area 😋, several decent others nearby a few mins stroll. On site bar/bistro is good too - B&B a good option!

CanadaThere were a few things in the room that could use a little work, and we let the staff know about them. The patio sliding door was hard to open. When you turn on the light for the bathroom at night, it also lit up the tub area which was right next to the bed so it was too bright. That worked out OK because we could still make our way to the bathroom in the dark and left the blind open in the bathroom for some light. Staff seem to be doing maintenance and repair work in various places so I think they keep it up. It’s just that you need to let them know if there are any issues.
Location was great, with a restaurant and pub on site, which was convenient when we arrived. The restaurant was very nice. Short walking distance to the beach and also to restaurants and a supermarket. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were upgraded to a better room, and the view was wonderful over the marina. Having a transfer/taxi service on site was very useful and they did our transfer back-and-forth to the airport and we also use them to get to Pigeon Island. They also offered tours.

BelgiumThere was a severe issue with the doors leading to the balcony, one side was completely blocked and you really had to struggle to open the other side because they were very old and would get stuck. Same thing with the windows. Even though the Jacuzzi was a very nice addition to the room one side of it was not working at its complete capacity which was a pity. Concerning the breakfast we were told that we could choose the days we would like breakfast and go to the bar to eat however apparently there was a misunderstandind and you actually need to add it all days or none. However, the hotel staff accomodated us and let us have breakfast only the one day we were planning to, so that is appreciated.
They upgrated us to the luxurius suite which was very beatiful, spacious, had a view of the marina and a Jacuzzi. The hotel premises are very nice since there are many outdoor spots with sunbeds where you can sit and relax as well as a pool that you can swim in if you want to cool off before heading to the beach. The beach is a 5,6 minute walk (you can't swim in the Marina). The room also provided beach towels and beach chairs and umbrellas you could bring with you if you did not want to pay for sunbeds from the beachbars there. The hotel is in Rodney bay which is quite touristy but this also means that there are many nice restaurants around and some bars (even though I guess the nightlife is Saint Lucia in not the best since no bar was full even in the weekend) but again you can find fun things to do!
