It's an old building with squeaky floors. Room was rather dark and the lighting inside was minimal.

Good location for walking. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was tasty.

This was my fourth time at this hotel over many years. It still retains all its charm and personality. It's in an ideal location and the staff and management offer an experience second to none. I particularly like the fact its understated, quiet but centrally located right next to the river. I have stayed in other places in Luang Prabang but always seem to drift back here. That says a lot. They also have an excellent wine cellar at very reasonable prices

The staff is very very helpful. Arrange transport, to airport or waterfall. Show us map and places to visit. Mr. Lum (sorry if I spell it wrongly) is helpful and always have a smile. location is superb.

The staff and managers are so kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect- right in the heart of the old town. Though it was incredibly hot while we were visiting in June, being right in the center of town made it easy to return to our room at the hottest parts of the day. We watched the alms giving several times as it was literally a two minute walk to the Main Street. Though the street could be a little noisy with traffic, occasionally, it was never a problem, and in fact it was fun people watching from our ( little) balcony.

Everything was great.

This hotel is wonderful - it has a perfect location on the Nam Khan river in the quiet part of town. The staff were terrific and made us feel so welcome to be staying at their hotel. We has a large balcony room on the upstairs floor with a beautiful view - the bathroom was clean and had everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh fruit and a choice of a cooked option - eggs, pancake etc - with French bread and jam. There is a very well stocked wine cellar and a bar open until 10pm. There isn't a restaurant for lunch or dinner but there are two of the best restaurants in Luang Prabang next door (Tamarind) and next to next door (Coconut Tree). The alms giving to monks happens in the next street each morning and is a one minute walk away. The staff will arrange any transport or day trips as required.

Great location in the quieter end of the peninsula but close by to some very good restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. Peaceful breakfast on the terrace looking out at the river - best way to start the day!

The fine dining restaurant is not open yet in evenings ( it’s November 22) but provides lovely breakfast.

The lovely Apsara is open again. it’s so good to see that old traditional businesses are doing well after hard 2 years.

The room and lack of curtain to cover the large window/ door which made it hard to sleep.

I love the location. Having been to LPB 16 times, I prefer the old town and Apsara is perfectly located. The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast superb. My only complaint is that if you are sensitive to light in the room and noise the room is poorly insulated. The curtain partially covers the window that exposes to the road and the light floods the room making it hard to sleep. The door closes partially so noise comes in too. Other than that the room is simple and spacious.

Location is top , rooms we found a little bit not to our taste, however high celling in old building has certain charm

The bed was a bit lumpy and the pillows were far to soft.The breakfast has no real Vegan / Vegetarian options.

The hotel is opposite the river and close to all the sights and restaurants.It has wonderful staff that can arrange anything you ask for with a smile.The owner introduced himself to us and was genuinely interested in our conversation.It has that certain charm.
