Comfortable large bed, hot shower. The lady at the front desk. She gave a map amd advice on places to see and heat. Very helpful. As I'm writing this waiting for a taxi she brought me cold water. Lovely people, would definitely recommend 👌 👍 😀

Lyn was such a beautiful host. From the moment we arrived she shared lots of helpful information about sights to see as well as offering services such as scooter hire, transport tickets and laundry. The family was very friendly. ✅️ Wifi is good. ✅️ The rooms are clean. ✅️ Good breakfast with coffee, juice and fruits to go with your order. ✅️ Close to the night market and many good places to eat. ✅️ The rooms were cool with a fan and aircon

We loved this place - it was so clean and smelt amazing! The location was perfect - close enough to the hustle and bustle of the night markets, but far away enough to relax and not be disturbed. The bed was extremely comfy and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job! However, the highlight of this stay was without a doubt the staff. The staff, especially Lin and her beautiful family, were so friendly and could not accommodate us any better. They helped us to hire a scooter, gave us directions and recommendations, and just in general could not fault them. This place is definitely worth the stay - they have recently undergone refurbishments and everything is up to such a high standard.

All was great but I would advise to pay by card (even with the 3% fee) as they don’t give the best USD to KIP exchange rate compared to google (but the rate they give is similar to a lot of companies in the area)

A great little hotel in a top location, right in downtown Luang Prabang, easy walking distance to all the local attractions. There are many beautiful temples nearby, as well as a lot of restaurants (for French-style foods, try Zurich Bread Factory & Cafe; but there are many more restaurants of all kinds, both Asian and Western, all over the area). To view the Mekong river in all its glory is just a two minute walk from the hotel. And there are various cafe's and restaurants overlooking the water, to sip a drink or have a meal, and watch the boats travel past. The night market is less than 10 minutes walk away, and while walking towards it you also pass many shops, some bars, massage places, etc. The location where alms are given to the monks is just a few minutes from the hotel too. My room was spacious and had a fan over the bed, as well as nice cold air conditioning. The bed was big and comfortable. There was a small working desk too, and a cold little fridge to keep a few drinks cool. The bathroom had a normal as well as monsoon-type shower. Everything was very clean. The WiFi worked well for me. Breakfast is served outside, and there is a menu of different breakfast plates to choose from, such as toast with eggs in different ways, or a banana pancake with honey, for example. It is made fresh every time. The hotel can arrange a variety of tours in the region, including river boat trips on the Mekong, and a range of other ones including trips by private car to your destination of choice. There is also a laundry service available. The place is managed by a friendly and welcoming couple, who kindly gave advice about what to see and do in town when I arrived for my three night stay. And even though it was in the low season, the hotel was full or nearly full during the time of my stay, which didn't surprise me, as it was such an excellent experience. I enjoyed staying here: strongly recommended!

I had a great experience here. Mr. Steve and the staff are very friendly. They arranged my train ticket to Vang Vieng, and I was able to rent a scooter through them. The room was huge, and the shower was excellent. The included breakfast was also very nice. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Luang Prabang.

The bed could do with a mattress topper or something to make it a little more comfortable. Darker curtains would be good to block the outside light at night time from the main outside light. The TV didn't work.

The main reception guy was very helpful, sorted a scooter for us, and gave us lots of information when we first arrived. He even ran out to us while we were getting off the scooter in heavy rain with an umbrella to get us into the hotel without getting even more wet.The room was spacious.

Everything was great

I stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Luang Prabang. It felt safe, especially for solo travelers like myself. It was also surprisingly quiet, which can be rare in Asia. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the rooms were equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast was incredible, with plenty of options to choose from. But the highlight was definitely the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Very clean, peaceful area. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay. The free breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and always freshly cooked to order. Location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the main area. Tom was very friendly and helpful, making sure we always had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in Luang Prabang, great value for money for what you get here!!

Got upgraded, unfortunatly the bathroom had some issue with the drain. We then moved to a room upstairs the next day. Nice and big room, quiet area, right in the center of the old town.

The room at Villa Oudomlith was so comfortable and Tom is the best, most helpful person! He helped me book a train ticket and also rented a scooter to me. The breakfast is really good as well! The hotel is in the perfect location within Luang Prabang to explore everything nearby.

Great location , close enough to everything but also in a very quiet and peaceful street. Tom was amazing and looked after me more than I had expected, he's very knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction at every opportunity Very comfortable bed and very clean homely rooms. There is also an English learning centre next door that i spent time teaching the Laos kids English Thank you so much for the stay and I will certainly come back and stay here.

Very spacious , nice large bed and very comfortable . Nice wooden floors and ceiling. Staff were more than happy to do what they could for you. The location is the best . 1 minute to the walking street market .has a fridge to cool my beers . Breakfast was perfect with many choices to have .
