Loved my staff. The host was very nice, providing an easy pack of great places to go and visit and eat. The room was spacious and location was right on the night markets.

We just love Mali House! So we don't have anything bad to say!!

The location is super convenient!! It's litterly in front of the morning market! Plus it's walking distance to night market and food court too. We love it!!!! Mali and Andy, the owner and his staff, were super nice !! We will return and recommend this place differently!!!

I had to leave, that sucked.

It was everything the reviews mentioned - very well located (5-10 mins from pretty much all the cool stuff), clean, comfortable, tastefully designed, enjoyable to stay in. A lot of effort obviously went in to create a great experience. I'll mention something no one else has - the fan. The ceiling fan is extremely beautiful. The host Andy is friendly and very helpful - in addition he even went out of his way on his work day to surprise me on my birthday with lunch at a very classy nearby restaurant. What else could a traveler possibly want. Bonus: there's a Very cute cat who hangs out in the garden sometimes.

Location was amazing for 3 days. It's a short walk to the night market and right in the middle of the morning market! Andy was very hospitable and provided local recommendations on what to do... I particularly enjoyed the local omelette he recommended right on the waterfront... :)

Something was wrong with the toilet. I stayed on the second floor and toilet didn’t flush because of the shortage of water. So I had to refill water with shower.

The owner is very kind and helpful for me. Air conditioning works well (below 23℃ requires additional cost.). He treated me a cup of Laos style coffee and arranged a transportation to the airport. The driver is very polite and the vehicle is comfortable. The location is very good especially when you stroll around morning and night markets. We can refill purified water on the first floor.

In the heart of the morning market (but no issues with noise tho!), the location was perfect to wander around Luang Prabang. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the balcony was cute and the beds were so comfortable: we slept like babies! Andy, the host, was very accommodating and super friendly. They also sell coffee and delicious fresh juices in front of the house!

Just the doggy across the way. She'd had pups and barked her disapproval at people walking by. Being a light sleeper, it did make me grumpy!

Beautiful villa right alongside morning Market & short walk to the river and main part of town. Host's Andy & Venus were lovely. One can sit in their cafe and watch the busy morning market. Great coffee too!

We really can’t complain as the value for money was exceptional. In order to have privacy in the room, wooden shutters must be closed, and this will block out all natural light, but it’s cozy and dark for sleeping, and when you don’t need total privacy, the large windows and glass door are lovely and let in the sun.

Cute and comfortable with a great location and a very helpful host. Andy made sure we knew the tastiest places to eat, the banks with the best exchange rates, and the excursions most worth our time. He helped us arrange a motorbike with helmets, facilitated our laundry getting cleaned, and even gave us a loan when we ran out of kip. Nowhere have we received better insider advice than from Mail House.

The position is very compact with neighbouring properties all close by. At the time, there was a neighbour's dog which barked day and night.

Be prepared for an early start at the good market gets going, but to enjoy the full Luang Prabang experience you need to rise early to reap the rewards

Great location, an intimate family run guest house. It was situated in the heart of the food market/street and the garden was an excellent coffee shop/juice bar. Very helpful with arranging visits to key locations

This is not a criticism of Andy or the property but due to the location (which is made very clear when booking) we had a smell of smoke early in the morning from the market.

Andy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - he arranged trips for us and transport to the train station. Lovely room, really comfy bed and hot shower. Location was right in the centre making everything easily accessible.

Small but functional room. Very silent which I really appreciated once I had to rest one day due to health issues. Andy the host is extremely helpful.

The doors slamming woke me up every time, had to use earplugs when sleeping. Too much water from the shower ran in front of the toilet. Due to the warm weather it dries up quickly though.

Nice small room in quiet old town area with Morning Market and Night Market within walking distance. Very friendly host who was there to help with anything needed.
