Everything was to my liking.

The guesthouse is clean. The bed sheet the floor and the bathroom were all clean. I was able to sleep comfortable on the bed. The owner is very nice always smiling.

The neighbourhood was noisy until after midnight (not the property’s fault but just to be aware)

Really nice staff, let me check in early, did laundry for me quickly as I was leaving early the next morning and helped me book onward transportation. Room was clean, comfortable and had very good air conditioning.

I think the room would benefit from a fridge although shops are very close. I personally thought - perhaps the common hallway could have security boxes. But that was just my own thoughts and I must add that the guest house looks very safe and there was always someone at reception.

The guest house was exactly has advertised and was very clean and tidy. While it is a short walk to the night market it is all level and a pleasant walk. The guest house has its own courtyard and it makes the guest house perfect for a quiet and peaceful nights sleep The surrounding works is a major hotel project and nothing the current owner can do about it but would only trouble someone who likes an afternoon sleep..I suspect most will be like me and out most of the day.

We stayed here one night before heading to the airport the next day. Good location, we had stayed across the road earlier in our stay and ksana guesthouse was 1000 times better. Beds really comfortable, super clean and they arranged a cheap airport transfer for us. Super nice guest house/ home stay

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They reserved seats for us on our minivan to the railway station. It was 40000LAK per person and much cheaper than taking a cab. Everything in the facility was very clean. "The construction" is not that loud. We would love to stay here again!

Booking.com said it would cost us £65 however when we came to pay we could only pay in cash and ended up paying the value of £75 which felt a bit much.

Room was lovely and clean. Everything felt so new and the staff were really friendly. Nice to have comfy chairs in our room. Location out of the centre but only a 10 minute walk to the food market.

Hot room, with very hard bed with hard springs that I very much felt every night. The window was facing their kitchen and laundry room so you could hear staff members talking early in the morning, and a washing machine thats very loud. Also, soundproofing is super bad, expext loud noise from thr street from the early morning until midnight. Toilet smelled on sewage so the whole room took over the smell of it, and the worst thing is that toilet had a hole in the floor so I had cockroaches every night. Staff did absolutely nothing about it, nor wanted to switch me to another room. Unfortunately, most of the afordable places were fully booked so I had to stay there. I wouldnt write anything until the worst thing happened: the owner decided to make up her own exchange rate from dollars to kips, ending in charging me already overpriced room, to even more expensive room. She said she accepts dollars and that I could change kips in dollars. When I said that I have kips (Laos money), she decided to charge me extra for the commision she would be charged for the kips she would change to get dollars. Like wtf? Hahaha. You cant just make up your own exchange rate because you want only dollars!!!! I've also seen she overcharged the room by doing the same to another couple. When I denied to pay her extra 5 dollars, she started to shout, grabbing my things and not alowing me to.leave the place until I pay her. The audacity that some people have! For cockroaches and sewage room, someone would at least expect some humbleness, rather than agressive thief! The owner is Chinese, so expect to translate everything in chinese in a translator because she doesnt speak a word of English or Laotian. Avoid if you can, there are much nices rooms and facilities closer to the center, just book in advancr bacause its a very touristy city...

Building site next door was loud early in the morning, not the hotel's fault though! Room and bathroom a little small but that's not a big issue.

there was no fridge for water, also there was construction going on next door so that was quite noisy and woke us up both mornings.

the room is basic but fine, and good value for money. the location was good, the room was a decent size and was clean and comfortable. the staff tried to help us book train tickets as well.
