Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe shower was difficult with no shower curtain. The tub needed a better cleaning. And the lighting for putting on make up was awful inside the bathroom.
The hotel was in the perfect location. The air-condition was exceptional since I am from a cool climate. No noise from outside the room even though I was near the elevator. I had plenty of plug ins to charge my devices. A fridge and the room had good lighting. Bed was comfortable. The day staff was excellent in helping me fix my I phone which got stuck on a app and wouldn't shut down. They also helped me find various places.

CanadaThe location was perfect for us to go Inseokdong and Insadong and Jongro. A Korean style table with sitting mats and traditional Korean style window frames and a door are unique. The toilet and bath tub are in a separate space. Staff at the front desk are helpful and nice. A/C was perfect; it was so hot 🥵 outside.

United KingdomThe only thing was that the shower is over the bath and doesn't have a curtain or screen so the bathroom ends up being slightly like a wet room, however they provide bathroom sandals for when the floor is wet so it didn't really bother us in the end!
Lovely hotel, especially the staff and location! For tourists coming to Seoul for the first time, it is located in walking distance from the palaces, temples, and lovely shopping streets. The closest metro station (Jonggak, line 1) is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are a number of buses that run up the main streets round the corner from the hotel too! We ended up walking a lot more as it's a good way to see lots of sights and the furthest we easily walked was to the Myeongdong area :) The room itself was large, had a very comfortable bed, and the staff were incredibly helpful even though we cannot speak Korean. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Sunbee and would highly recommend it to any tourists travelling to Seoul!

Hotel staff are lovely and the Korean style room has a comfy bed, adequate space and an excellent bathtub. Especially when compared with other hotels in Seoul. They provided our baby with a Nuna brand crib. Perfect location for first timers to Seoul or those looking for a stay in the hip Jongno district. Sunbee is about 10 steps to Insadong which is a great place to shop. A little further on is Ikseongdong, a trendy spot of winding roads littered with cafes, bars and restaurants built inside hanok style houses. There’s also the huge indoor market that sells all sorts of musical instruments and equipment nearby. Easy to get to Gyeongbukgung Palace and other must see spots! Absolutely recommend and will be staying here again.
