There was construction noise with an excavator going all night about 10 meters from the front door which made it very hard to get a good nights sleep

Its exactly as pretty as the picture. The owner really takes care of the building. Our villa is full of intricate construction details which no doubt is hard to keep clean, but i couldnt see any corner or joints that is dusty. Location is incredible, right in the heart of the Jeonju hanok village

This is the best place to stay: the location is in the middle of the Hanok Village, easily walkable to everything. The host is extremely friendly and the first thing he does is take out a map and show you the highlights you should hit for your stay. As an American family of four staying in one of the larger rooms, we found everything comfortable and easy to use, even the Korean-style shower. One bonus item is that our room came with a filtered hot & cold water dispenser: cold water for drinking or filling our bottles, hot water for coffee and tea without the need for the kettle.

Bed not so comfortable, I think a regular futon would sleep better.

Very tasty breakfast, and delivered to the room - wow service. The hanok owner showed us where to eat local food of high quality and mapped everything for us. We felt very welcome.

The room isn't super soundproof and the neighbour's air conditioning was a little noisy.

The location is superb, puts you straight within the Hanok village. The host is super nice, gives good information on where to eat and is generally helpful.

Jeonju overall is a great place to see and visit and we highly recommend it but, if you don’t have a lot of time for your travels, you don’t need to spend much more than a day or so in the town.

All the positive reviews of this hanock and the owner sum things up perfectly. The pictures also give a very good representation of the place. Very highly recommend!

I WENT TO KOREA FOR 10 DAYS N I STAYED HERE IN JEONJU FOR ONLY 1 NIGHT BUT THE ROOM IS THE BEST!! SO PRETTY!!! AND GIVE ALL THE ANCIENT KOREAN VIBES!! AND THE SAJANGNIM IS THE BEST!!! WE ARRIVED AT ALMOST 10PM & I FORGET TO TELL HIM BEFOREHAND THAT WE ARE 5 PERSON BUT HE STILL BEING SO NICE AND TELL US WHERE IS WHERE WHICH MAKES ME FEEL VERY SORRY FOR NOT TELLING HIM EARLIER. HE GAVE US KOREAN BREAKFAST THE NEXT DAY N SEND US TO HANBOK RENTAL SHOP N WE GET DISCOUNT BCOZ WE STAYED HERE N HE ALSO HELPED US TO GET TAXI TO GO TO JEONJU STATION. Its not a hotel but for a Hanok you can't ask for more.

We were looking for a Hanok experience with a mattress and not futons and for a property in the middle of the Hanok Village. We paid a little more for this room which was bigger and had a proper mattress. We found this property on Booking.com and it was just perfect for our stay. The owner of this guesthouse was very helpful and gave us a map of the Hanok village and marked out all the attractions and some of the famous eateries here. After check out he stored our bags and even helped us get a taxi to the train station. Breakfast was nice too. There was also a water dispensing machine with cold and hot function in the guesthouse. The owner kept the guest house very clean. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jeonju.

Where to begin.... First, we were greeted by the owner - the sweetest man who washed our luggage wheels and showed us a map of the city providing incredible recommendations for everything from tourist attractions to secret local food spots. Can not over emphasize how hospitable and friendly the owner was. We love him. Then the room was so clean and spacious and authentic. Don't even get me started on breakfast... delivered to the doorstep (fruits, coffee, toast etc.)

This hanok is simply gorgeous!! The location is fantastic (within walking distance to all must-see sights) and the host is extremely friendly. He took time to explain to us where to go for the must-try food in Jeonju and even recommended us where we can rent Hanbok. The host is so thoughtful to provide both bed and futon beds for foreign travelers who cannot get used to sleeping on futon beds. Definitely value for money!! Will visit again for sure.

Friendly and helpful host, a beautiful hanok in the Jeonju village, excellent location with great amenities. This is the best place we stayed in 2 weeks after 5 accommodations in South Korea. It made us feel like home, we were able to relax and relieve our fatigue. We stayed at the quadruple room. It was very clean, immaculate and beautiful interior, good quality products used and spacious. Both the modern and traditional beds were very comfortable and nicely heated floor. Simple breakfast provided was prepared with great care. It's lovely to stay at a place where you can feel that the owners take great pride and utmost care of its place.

This stay was an absolute pleasure. Definitely the best part of our trip. The hanok is just perfect, it looks amazing from the outside and just as amazing on the inside. Not to mention our host was extremely nice, he sat with us and explained everything we could do in the area from sightseeing to food and he was also nice enough to suggest some halal food places.

Perhaps just the floor mattress was alittle thin and hard. Maybe to have a double layer would be more comfortable :)

Loved everything of this hanokstay. Location was perfect. The host was SUPERB! He waited for us as our flight was delayed, he gave us a simple but heartwarming breakfast, and lastly he helped us lug our luggage to the main road and helped us with taxis. It was incredible. He went above and beyond. This was perfect and I would highly highly recommend. Please also visit hangukjib bibimbap which was recommended by the host. 100% must try!
