We have seen the rooms before when visiting a friend and we liked then a lot. But I guess those were renovated and we were on an unrenovated floor. The furniture was old, there was no shower cabin and the shower curtain was old an short, we had a wet bathroom after every shower.

I think since we're near city hall, there's usually a lot of rallies or protests outside. Due to this, they sometimes close the roads in front. So plan accordingly.

I like that it's central to myeongdong and that there's a visitor booth close by. The facilities are clean and the staff is friendly.

If price can be more competitive would be excellent.

The rooms are quite spacious. Location is quite good considering its near commercial city. Quite vibrant with activities. Facilities to store luggages is a bonus. Limousine bus outside the hotel is another thumbs up.

The pricing is only a little bit high. However, this is Seoul - a completely awesome city. There are lower cost options, but service and comfort would likely be much less. I will return to the Koreana.

Hotel was very accommodating to my requests. Family visiting from USA was excited and thoroughly impressed with the hotel. We had three rooms and very adequate space for all. The location is perfect for visitors. Breakfast was very good offering wide variety of Korean and international foods.

Customer service and check in could be improved. You have to pay for early check in even if it is just a couple of hours. There is too much unnecessary furniture in the rooms which makes them cramped. Our shower leaked a lot when showering which made the whole bath wet all the time.

Charging attempts of making local hone call

I like the cleanliness, daily cleaning & changing of linen. Staff are nice and helpful. Hotel is accessible to few places I wanted to go., very safe. The only thing is they charge you each time you lift the phone to make phone call even though it didn’t go through, otherwise I had a great time staying i. This hotel.

The bathroom smelled bad occasionally. It was on and off thing. Sometimes, the smell was like sewage backed up kind odor. Perhaps the monsoon season contributed to the odor. However tge it was not pleasant at all. Also, some staff members could use more smiles. The coin laundry room needs to be managed better.

The lication was excellent. Close to many attraction sites and subway stations. Abd the room was very spacious.

The previous day, I booked a single room with a queen bed and had a very good experience. The next day, since my family joined me, I switched to a family room with two beds. The size and amenities of the room were quite similar to the previous day's, except for the difference between a king-size bed and two queen beds. However, the price doubled, which I found unreasonable. Therefore, today's stay didn't offer good value for money.

The hotel's location, comfort, staff, breakfast, and Wi-Fi are all very good.

Dewy odor in the bathroom - I think it’s the shower liner. No iron + ironing board. Trash bins don’t have plastic liners.

Perfect location! Close to everything and to subway stations. Even offering other services such as money exchange, hanbok rental, free bike rental, umbrellas available to borrow for guests (it rained a few days during our stay), airport limo scheduled pick-up, pocket Wi-Fi booking and other tours! Bed is nice and crisp clean linens. Staff very attentive and accommodating.

All was good.

The location was very good. Easy walking distance to Myeongdong, the Cheonggyecheon stream with live entertainment at night, and the City Hall metro station (useful in getting around but also the meeting spot for our DMZ tour). The Seoul City bus tour (hop on hop off) and the airport limousine bus both depart from right outside the hotel. The area is especially interesting on Saturdays when the street welcomes more protesters. Many varied causes, passionate individuals and groups, but very orderly. The police are present and watchful. A fascinating side of the culture not evident during the work week. We also made use of the helpful concierge and a wine store in the lobby. The hotel offers access to a good fitness facility on site and a convenience store is right next door.
