The bathroom in one of the rooms was slightly dirty. Room was dark and not much sunlight, which made it feel like night time constantly.

Stayed at Oriens Hotel in Dec 2018, Dec 2021 (Vaccinated Travel Lane) and Dec 2022. A quaint and cosy hotel that will always be my top choice when I am choosing a hotel for my trip to Seoul. The facilities are simple yet sufficient. Hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. Located near to Myeongdong market street and the nearest bus stop has bus services that can bring you to many places of interest in Seoul. Looking forward to my next stay there.

I really can't fault the hotel on anything. I would say the only critique would be the lack of natural light in the room, but this is personal preference.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional upon arrival. The hotel was as clean as a whistle and the bed sheets were fresh and crisp. We were surprised to get a little kitchenette in our room, which is rare in Seoul. The heater was great too! We had a very cosy and relaxing stay.

Our room had a broken window that wouldn't close. It was fixed the next day, but I didn't appreciate having to sleep with a window we couldn't close. It was only tolerable because it opened to a tiny non-usable space with windows from the other interior rooms. Having no natural sunlight made our room rather cave-like. The hotel uses a cleaner with a terrible smell (at least that's what we assume the smell was from), so we kept the door to the bathroom closed to keep the smell in there. The elevator had the same awful smell.

The room had all the essentials and was reasonably clean. The staff were polite and friendly.

The lighting of the room needs more regulation. The room needs to have more cups and other useful stuff.

We liked the staff politeness and readiness to help. The location is convenient with easy access to metro station. The room is nice and clean. The rate is competitive.

Refrigerator had a cheesy smell. Also there is no air conditioning but that was OK for our winter stay (only because we have windows... would have been terrible without them)

Tidy and spatious room. Excellent customer service. Prime and quiet location. In addition, we found that our triple room came with a window despite that not being included in the original plan. I guess you can request for it!

Temperature of the water shower could get a little erratic sometimes. In general still ok to use it. Not a big problem.

Second booking. The room is big as per pictures shown as well. It's spacious and has washing machine in our room, which is fantastic! Near to Chungmuro station, yet walkable to Myeongdong. Convenient. There are some convenient stores just nearby, making it easy for us to get additional drinks or snacks for our stay. Overall, it's GREAT!

The property is right in the middle of Myeongdong and Seoul so it’s a great location to get around from. It’s clean and modern and spacious.

Room size <20m2, which is smaller than 23m2 of BOOKING description. It is actually located at Namsan hill area rather than Myeongdong. Road is slopy. Not many restaurants around. Taxi drivers are not willing to give a ride to Seoul station, which is a shame. 房间面积不到20平米,比预定时说的23平米小.位置说是明洞, 其实在南山范围, 路的坡度大. 附近的饭馆较少, 购物也不太方便. 离本地地铁站不远, 但带行李过去还是不方便. 走的时候, 让酒店安排出租车到首尔站, 司机到了后居然嫌太近而拒载.

Service is good, the staff are very helpful. House ware and appliance are good. Youtube channel is good. 服务不错, 员工友善, 帮我不少. 房间的设备不错, youtube 频道用起来很方便.

The only bad thing is that the walls are a little thin, and you need to make sure to close the windows even if it's inside the building itself. People can look through easily if you don't.

The staff was really helpful, the laundry area was perfect and easy to use compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms were nice. The hotel is located near the station which makes it easy to get to pretty much everywhere & back without issues. Lots of food options nearby, as well as an underground market at the station itself in case you need anything. Doing our laundry was easy, and convenient. Especially compared to another hotel we stayed at.

i found it quite poor maintained, some corners of the room weren’t that neat. on our 2nd night, we forgot to lock our room door and around 11pm we heard someone was trying to open the door. we were shocked but we were being positive that was maybe a staff who was making sure about our room. but we were still in shock for sure, and we told the front staff.

i like the location as it’s very strategic. it’s only 5mins walk to Chungmuro station, very near to Myeongdong and other places. loving the access and the hospitality is exceptional! thanking the helpful staffs so much!
