Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Slovakiathe location with respect towards the city center is not ideal, however, it is a bit aside and you have to calculate more time for transfers, especially in rush traffic hours
This hotel is really worth its 5 stars. Clean, comfortable, equipped with lot of facilities that might make your stay enjoyable (outdoor swimming pool for example) Delicious breakfast with such a wide choice, that you cannot even taste half of it...

AustraliaWe came after a long weekend when the hotel had been very busy. The cleaning of our room could have been better. Windows had lots of grimy handprints all over them and had been vacuumed very quickly.
Amazing location and incredible views. They let us check in an hour or so early. Great breakfast.

United KingdomThe lobby bar is a bit naff but you don't have to go there. Great. bars and restos and all you need by walking down the hill to Itaewon and the small lanes around there. Past the Leeum museum and the Mario Botta building and private houses like in Parasite film. Walking back up the hill after dinner to the Hyatt is a good thing as it helps walk off dinner!
I have stayed many times. I always ask for a high floor and river view.

Russiathe bathroom disappointed. the water in the sink did not drain well, the bath itself was closed with a curtain like in student hostels, the shower was weak and inconvenient inside of a tub (I hate touching curtains), a huge toilet and low quality toilet paper! Location is not convenient for those who want to see people.
View from the room, room itself, bed and linens. Breakfast was good but expansive

Hong KongFor this reason, there are now too many Korean families coming over for staycation. It could be crowded. In addition, the rooms are nice, cozy, and clean, but not very new. But overall I’m happy with the room condition.
Grand Hyatt Seoul is old, but has been one of the best hotels in Korea for a very long time. It has everything you can get from a top hotel including various restaurants, bars, ice skating rink, outdoor/indoor swimming pool, with a great view of either Namsan or Seoul.

South KoreaAs there were no vegan options available we had to find alternative places outside to eat which was frustrating as the location is quite a trek from any of the metro stops and most places open after 11. It was also very expensive to hire the skates for the ice rink - if you were paying to stay at the hotel it should really have been included. If you choose to stay take your own swim cap and gloves as they are mandatory to use the pool and ice rink.
This was the only hotel we found that allowed us to stay in one room with our kids rather than having to book two separate rooms. The beds were comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and shower had good pressure.

SingaporeI arrived at 11 am from a red eye flight. Can totally understand and respect the check in time of 3 pm. However, even at 4 pm, I was told the hotel is full and coz earlier guests checked out late, I had to wait another hour. To me, this is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel for not honouring its commitment to guests. That said, this unpleasant experience was eradicated by the outstanding and prompt action of Ms Jasmine Park who after hearing the issue from me, immediately gave me an upgraded room. I was not prepared to accept an upgrade because the purpose of my feedback was for the hotel to improve and not to be upgraded. Nonetheless, Jasmine was really empathetic and insisted I have the upgraded room so I can be checked in immediately. This to be is the epitome of outstanding service which fully mitigated the unpleasant check in experience.
It is a huge, beautiful and facility rich property.

South KoreaThe elevators are crowded day and night (another set of lifts would be beneficial to discharge the principal), sound proofness of the rooms is not top-notch even in the upper category, and the breakfast that is served in the second dining room (actually, the lounge bar, which is converted on Sundays morning) is different (lesser) from the one served in the main dining room, even though it is boasted as being exactly same by the staff in charge of dispatching customers. When it was pointed out to the staff, they admitted and made excuses, but it can be resented as some form of dishonesty, especially from regular customers' viewpoint and in regards of the rather high ticket demanded.
An old school, classy hotel reminding of the luxury of past eras, which place benefits from an exceptional location. The oversized lobby is impressive, and the lounge bar offers a fantastic view over the river and the city down the hill through 10-meter high floor-to-ceiling windows. It is an island of comfort and an ideal place to steam off after a busy day, before enjoying a fine dining experience at one of the nice restaurants that can be found within the facilities. Overall, the staff is competent and attentive, and the venues are very clean.
