It was all great! Room is smaller but we spent so much time walking around that it was the perfect to drop off stuff and keep exploring.

The location is close to everything: city hall and the main Sejong road. Seoul Station and Gyeongbukgung Palace are both walking distance. It's near a lot of good restaurants as well as Myeongdong.

Very minimal issues like having to request for toilet papers, new towels, and not having our own microwave in the room, but there is a shared one in the lounge on the 6th floor. :)

The wall is kind of thin. We could hear people showering. They were pretty good about keeping quiet hours, so it wasn't as bad for sleeping hours. I wish the vent in the bathroom is a little bit stronger, so it can remove humidity better during the summer.

The hotel was located right in the city, closed to Myeongdong. We did have a really easy time getting to and from the train station. Although the room was small, it was cleaned and nicely arranged. The air condition worked just fine for us. They have washer and dryer available. Although there is no breakfast, you can easily walk out of the hotel and find some delicious foods out there. I will definitely return again for the price!

A fantastic, budget friendly hotel tucked down an alley way off one of the main streets, we loved our stay here. The location is great! We were spoilt for choice for places to eat with the many cafes and restaurants close by. Also, within 5 to 15 minutes walk to many attractions such as the markets (Namdaemun and Myeongdong Night), palaces, parks and shopping centres. Public transport is also close by. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The staff are amazing! So friendly, and helpful with directions, recommendations and arranging a taxi. We especially thank Jino for his exceptional service, I needed to see a doctor, he found an English speaking doctor for me nearby and arranged an appointment. We highly recommend Hotel Firststay Myeongdong!

Small cosy hotel located in a quiet area off the main road. Within a short stroll from City Hall subway and bus stops and taxi pick ups are just at the main road. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Plenty of food choices and convenient stores around the hotel area.

Our air conditioner in the room would drip water on to the floor occasionally. The hand soap in the bathroom is quite small, but you can easily ask the front desk for more if you need. No other complaints though!

The front reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The rooftop lounge/outdoor space was super nice at the end of a long day to relax and enjoy some snacks or refill water. Laundry room was easy to use and figure out.

Towels smell like mildew. Dryer doesn't dry clothes well. The room is very small. The price is just a bit high when considering these things.

Nothing honestly. They only had air conditioning in the rooms and no heater, but if you are cold in the night you can ask for a individual heater which they will bring up to your room, so there’s nothing to worry about.

This is already my second time here but I’m still going to list a few things that I love about this stay: 1. Great location. Within a 10 minute walk from city hall station, and there are numerous restaurants, convenience stores, cafes, all within walking distance. 2. Room: spacious enough to open two suitcases. Comfortable bed with two pillows + one blanket per bed. Had a fridge, bottled water, kettle, and hair dryer(which is working great). Bathroom: had a tub, two towels for each person, cups, toothbrushes/toothpaste. Common area: washing machine and dryer working just fine. Had tea bags, coffee, microwave and some tableware. Also had a sink to clean up after yourselves. All facilities/utilities mentioned in the description are included. 3. Very friendly staff. Asked about recommendations for food and they were very helpful. Also very quick to respond over Booking/Kakaotalk. All staff are fluent in English.

The fact that reception closed at 11pm. Unfortunately my flight was delayed so bit of a panic. However did email the hotel and 10 minutes later a kind female staff member let me in.

The staff were amazing. Super helpful, friendly and respectful. Wished I had booked earlier for last 3 days before flight back to NZ.

Perfect location spot, near to subway and bus stations, near city centre and many city landmarks. Very close to many convenient stores and everyday event spots. All hotel crew was extremely nice, kind and always willing to help and guide us! Definitely I would like to come back one day! Strongly recommend the HOTEL FIRSTSTAY!!!
