Such a beautiful hotel. It's like an art museum. The staff were super friendly, everything was very clean and the room size was very comfortable compared to our hotels in Tokyo. The location was perfect to move around the main areas. We will definitely come back!

Great location, walking distance to lots of tourist destinations, restaurants and shops. In very easy distance of metro station and bus, so getting around was a breeze, Room was decent size, nice and clean and had all the things needed.

Location is excellent and the room spacious and comfortable. Close to metro station, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Staff super friendly. Loved it!

Drainage in bathroom is lacking. But manageable.

Great location, 2 minutes from everything, from Insadong streets filled with shops and places of interests, palaces, garden, City Hall, even Bukchon Hanoi Village are within walking distance. Lots of eateries around too. No problem with transportation, taxis are available and reasonable, and there’s a subway nearby. The concierge / receptionists at the reception counter were very helpful. They would call taxis for you.. We stayed in Amid on 2 occasions, before & after a tour. We would stay again.

Small bed size

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location! All the major historical attractions are within walking distance. Plus, there’s a metro station nearby with a fantastic bookstore. There is an abundance of dining options in Ujeongguk-ro2-gil. The reception staff were very helpful and went out of their way to solve any issues we had. A special thanks to them for allowing us to check in early after our overnight flight, which was a lifesaver given our jet lag. After a trip to Busan, we choose to return to AMID for the rest of our stay. For breakfast, you can easily visit Paris Baguette or Coffee Bean and Leafs, both conveniently located nearby.

My room was closer to the elevator so I could often hear other guests (only loud ones) talking and laughing. Maybe the hotel could put some “please be quiet” sign in every floor, like I’ve seen in some other hotels.

Nice hotel closed to the old city center of Seoul. Within walking distance to all sight. All clean and nice.

The staff was really nice and helpful, even when we asked them an offhand question where to buy something, they started searching on the Internet to check and give us an answer. The hotel's clean and you get complimentary water bottles and cookies every day. The location is also really good, close to major attractions, metro stations and bus stops, including the airport bus. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I was lucky with the laundry machines, but people were queuing for them, so could be good with more. During the last night we realized how loud it was between rooms as there was a family with toddlers.

The beds are extremely comfy and we had a lovely view from our room of a mountain. The staff is also very polite, very helpful, very nice. If we stay in Insadong again, we will definitely come back. The breakfast buffet is very good value and has a nice selection of both Korean and 'Western' options.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel and lobby design was attractive. Breakfast was great and the facilities were well kept. Convenient location close to a metro station and within walking distance to some tourist sights. The service of the cleaning staff was exceptional.

The room we were allocated did not have drainage except via the bathtub. You have to be extremely careful not to splash water anywhere near the edge as the water had no outlet. I wish there were a few hooks / hanging bars for wet towels… there could be hooks on the wall facing the bathroom as that was a wide corridor.

Wonderful location, within walking distance to places of interests and eateries. Room is spacious and staff were friendly & helpful. We asked for extra bath mats the first day and staff were prompt. Coffee in sachets was good.

Great location, close to Insadong-gil, where you can easily find a lot of souvenirs and food options. The underground can easily take you to all the tourist locations, but the central location of the hotel means that you can also easily walk to Myeongdong (20 min walk), Bukchon Hanok Village (25 min walk), Changdeokgung (20 min walk), Gyeongbokgung (20 min walk). The room was spacious enough and clean. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner), which were high quality. We really appreciated the bottles of water provided every day. The staff was kind enough to hold our luggage while we were out exploring the city. They also held our luggage for few days while we were in Jeju. Overall strongly recommended!

I really don't have much negative to say, I would just say that the room was a bit small for two people (not a lot of room to have two open luggages or not a lot of space in the wardrobe).

Excellent location. The hotel is located very close to the main turist attraction, you can walk to several palaces and to the Cheonggyecheon. Metro is close by so you can move around Seoul easily. The staff is very friendly staff and always willing to help. The facilities are super clean.

The fact that the hotel does not provide milk for their guests. I found this was extremely strange that they provide coffee but not milk. This is the case not only in Amid hotel but also in all other hotels that I stayed in while I was in Korea

The staff were very helpful. One of their staff remembers went out of his way to provide me milk to have with my coffee in the morning as the hotel does not provide milk.
