It was all good.

Villa vedici has a beautiful location on the river just north of Kampot. Watching the sun go down behind the hills on the far side of the river was magical each day. And the two pools were clean and great for swimming.

I had a wonderful experience at the villa. It was a beautiful, quiet, clean, and cozy place. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The villa is situated beside a river and is set back from the main road, making it a peaceful retreat that is surrounded by a beautiful garden and riverfront. The property is very spacious, so even when there are other guests around, you can still easily enjoy the quiet and privacy that the place offers. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

The customer service was very poor. Noons greeted us on arrival or thanked us for staying. The grounds were unkept(long grass) and dirty. The pool beds had stains on them, the furniture was broken and not kept in good condition. Our bed was on the floor on a very uncomfortable mattress. The locks were very hard to lock and unlock. The Villa was so hot with only fans to try to cool the Villa down. In the hot season it would be unbearable.

The pool was the best thing about the property until we found poo in the pool and we had to ask twice for it to be cleaned.

I suspect in it's prime this was a great place to stay, but it appears to have suffered from under-investment over recent years. The rooms were dated and require some decent maintenance to bring them up to scratch. Our experience was that the photos on Booking.com did not reflect the current state of the hotel.

Loved Vedici and stayed an extra week. Location by the river is just as pictured, the views of sunsets over flowering trees from the balconies delightful. The was pool was clean with plenty of daybeds. Meals menu is enough to get on with and it's only a 5 minute scooter/tuktuk ride to Kampot town for a wider variety. Staff arranged a scooter within minutes of me asking, and were generally friendly. Room was great, with dark wood, good aircon and plenty of light from windows on two sides, all shuttered to allow for sleep in. Some people have commented on the riverside seating area being dilapidated- seems it's been fixed as it was a fine place to go for a walk and sit in the pavilions. I didn't swim or kayak in the river but there is easy access as well as boat rides by arrangement.

Mattress in the room was a bit worn out, there was a definite human shaped dent in it where you'd end up sleeping. No big deal though

Decent AC, amazing views, two pools, super staff who can help with everything! The food was amazing, boat trips were quality and nothing was too much trouble. Bonus cute dogs on site too

The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Zero customer service. This was disappointing as we'd read good things about the staff at the hotel and did not have the same experience. I would not return for this reason.

There was nothing that we did not like. We recommend this resort and definitely would return.

Fantastic little gem of a resort. Staff and owner went out of their way to make their guests had everything they needed. The room and bed were very comfortable. Everything is clean and well maintained. The swimming pools are both lovely. We used the one near the main dining area, as we were in the room nearby. The river and the property are very picturesque, so quiet and peaceful. It is so easy to call a tuk tuk on the pass app. It is a short ride and about 1 dollar or so to get into town.

Ash tray left for 3 days full of cigarette butts. Pagoda by the river was dirty all over .Had to hire canoes looked 5 years old surely they should be free to guests.. No steps to get in an out of the river Also … the wood in the pontoon was broken.

Sadly, as it could be lovely, this place is tired around the edges. The pool is nice but tiles missing, the poolside tiles are broken in places, the pool furniture is worn. Our room was main issue, for £40 a night we expected comfort, instead we had broken and old furniture with lost or missing cushions, gaps around entrance door for mosquitos to enter, aircon that broke down in middle of night meaning room very hot, gaps in ceiling in bathroom so mosquitos everywhere. We had two bad nights of sleep…first mosquitos, second aircon breakdown. We tried to discuss with owner but he chose to stay away leaving a poor new girl looking flustered. In the end we paid full price as we had to get bus and couldn’t wait for owner to return ( despite fact he was on phone to reception!) but it was not worth the price paid.

Friendly female staff at reception/bar. Peaceful location though a little far out of town so costs 3 dollars each way to go in. Decent breakfast though cheaper in town. Nice view of river and facilities to use on it…paddle boards, kayaks etc.

I had a terrible attack by wasps/hornets that were nesting inside the property entrance. The staff response at first was supportive, but I did not see them deal with the nest to prevent this happening to any other guests. We had to stay for an extra night because I could not fit my helmet or gloves on to ride home, due to swelling from the stings. I wish they had offered us some discount for this. It's disappointing.

Nice pool, simple rooms, not much clothing space, good hot shower. Quiet for a good sleep.

superb location with stunning views of mountains across the river. 2 pools were a bonus . Different types of accommodation set in beautiful tropical landscape. Just come back from a tranquil 3 night stay. could have stayed for another 3 nights so peaceful & relaxing 😎
