We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GreeceYou have to be carefull at the pool because there are some quite sharp tiles.
The location is calm but only 5 mn walk from very busy streets. The room is clean and big. The pool is very appreciated after a hot and exhausted day in the temples of Angkor. Breakfast is simple but correct with pancakes or eggs. The owners are helpfull.

AustraliaStaff could sometimes be 'absent' from the 24hr reception, which did lead to a little waiting for some instances. Some fixtures were broken, or unloved, leaving the place feel without its polish. Location on Google Maps and physical location don't necessarily align, so keep a look out for the little sign on the street. These issues, however, were reflected in the price point. I'd say a bargain for what I got.
Affordable and comfortable accommodation, especially considering the size of the room. Room amenities were functional, if not a little aged, and daily servicing was offered if desired. Fresh 500ml bottles of water in the room each day was a handy bonus for a place where all clean water is precious. Pool area was stunning and private; should have spent more time splashing about there! Service staff did all they could to be helpful, including printing a visa page for my onward journey. Happily extended my stay when requested, too. Staff will organise transportation if required, but be mindful prices are mates rates for their friends.

United KingdomTheir current Booking.com listing really needs correcting immediately. No "free" transfers offered since the new airport opened in Oct 2023 ! (Listing now 12 weeks out of date.) Not enough sun loungers, (3 only, not the 7 pictured*.) There is NO parasol* & the waterfall* was never turned on. There is NO cable TV. (Manager says it - "Costs too much money !") A few suggestions : Switch on the fridge before the guests check in. More coat hangers & coat hooks in the room. A drying rack or line for towels & swimwear on the naturally sunny veranda. A small swing bin in the pool area to encourage tidiness. A small stock of complimentary pool side towels. Despite some frustrations, I found the staff charming, the pool mostly tranquil and the location excellent. Hence my favourable score out of 10.
A good size for a budget room, with dark wood colonial style furniture albeit a little devoid of colour. A mid size tiled wet room with minor toiletries. Mini safe, mini fridge, good wifi, small but effiecient AC unit, multiple UK style plug points. Good bug screen on the window. Laundry service was cheap & quick. Staff were quick to both fetch an extra pillow and remedy a malfunctioning safe problem. The pool & whirlpool were great especially if you are lucky enough to have them to yourselves. No annoying background music 👍🏼 No lift onsite as mentioned in a previous review, so it was a slow slog up to our requested top floor room. Only paid £82 for 5 nights with my Booking.com Genius discount.. Very well placed for the busy Pub & Party Streets, riverside food stalls & the main souvenir markets, but there were also streets off the adjacent crossroad which were both lively but a bit more "adult" & low key.

New ZealandThere were a few things I didn’t like regarding this stay. - cleaning the rooms. Firstly, most of the time they would forget to give us toilet paper/towels. I stayed here for 19 nights and roughly 10 of those nights I had to go down and ask for towels or just reuse the same towel. I also noticed they weren’t changing the sheets. So I stayed in the same sheets for 19 nights. 2 of these nights out of 19 they didn’t clean our room at all.. the hours they cleaned were always different. Sometimes at 7am sometimes at 12pm I didn’t have an idea when they would be cleaned. - staff/language barrier. Most staff here other than the manager barely spoke English it was extremely hard to communicate with them. Being a hotel and always busy you would expect staff to know basic English but I found only the manager/owner knew English. So everytime I had something to ask I would have to wait for the manager. - billing / payments. I found that they over charged us for our pickup from SAI airport. I asked on the questions and they stated $30 USD for pick up but once I got the bill it stated $35 usd. Explained this to the manager and he changed it to 30 usd. I noticed that they combined mine and my family bills all together (we had 3 separate rooms).. so this got extremely confusing for when we checked out. We spent 20 minutes trying to figure out who ordered what. They ended up over charging my brother as he paid his a few days prior, then they said he didn’t pay so he had to pay twice. This comes back to language barrier and lack of tracking bill payments as the second time was someone different at the reception. -Restaurant. Stated it was open 10am-10pm. This was never accurate. Me and my family would always go down for dinner and 5/10 times either the cook has gone home early or they weren’t open. We would go around 4pm/5pm or 6pm most of the time we had to go somewhere else because of those issues.
-The Manager/Owner spoke English very well. So when needed information he helped.. helped book us our bus tickets and bikes etc. he gave me his number on WhatsApp incase I needed help with anything. He was amazing and extremely nice. -staff ladies at the restaurant were extremely nice. We did stay here for a while so they knew our order off by heart a few days later. This was nice with the language barrier. -Was only a 5 minute walk to night market/pub street and old market. -When cleaning the room, they did leave the room smelling really nice and clean. Pool- the pool has probably been one of the best I’ve been to in Siem reap with all of my stays over my 4 trips here in the last 10 years. The pool was nice and clean and it was deep which I liked.

FranceMinor detail, the irregular stair heights in the staircase can make you trip if you're not watching !
The location very close to the central area by foot, restaurants, street food, markets, everything is close by. The pool was appreciated, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and reactive. Sheets were changed during our stay, the leaking shower head was replaced as well. Good value for money!
